My only exposure to anything misslebrook related was when Oaklands school was a thing in Southampton decades ago and he had a plaque with his name on it there for whatever reason. What's the whole community centre thing about?

This meeting up for a “chat” to settle forum differences is a good idea I think. I’ve had my run ins with Soggy, so might even arrange a meet and dust up with him. Especially now I’ve found out where he lives.

This news article may explain that sad chapter in my life. My advice? Never volunteer for a charity, in the belief that it will help your community. You'll get no thanks and it'll cost you a lot of money and time. Still, at least Bursledon got a new community centre and dangerous paedophile banged up for 17 years, while I was chairman.

Now that Gloucester Saint outed and libelled me, I've decided to hang up my keyboard and depart this champagne socialist, craft beer swigging, public sector employed hotbed of Saints fans. The more I go to St Marys, the more I look around and know I don't fit in. Same on here, really. Back in the day, after a one all draw, at least I could look forward to chasing the away fans down Hill Lane and back to the station. Now the only exercise I get is walking to the nearest barista for a skinny latte.

The working class fan base I was part of no longer exists and nor should I.

Wow, that brought back a memory: In April 1969, I bought Fleetwood Mac's single "Man of the World", written by Peter Green. The flip side was a song credited to Earl Vince and The Valiants--although it was actually Fleetwood Mac in a completely different style. The song--written and sung by band member Jeremy Spencer-- was called "Everybody's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked in Tonite". The song was covered later by The Rezillos (1978).

If Trump wins in November, bully boy will be back. Only poster on ignore so hopefully next time he starts a Tommy Robinson appreciation thread or makes threats against another poster, people won’t quote him in their responses.  I don’t know if blocking mentions covers that off?

Sadly not. Nor does it prevent decent chats being sidetracked dealing with it.

the lack of humility is staggering. Pretty much everyone on the thread called out his behaviour, you'd think he'd be embarrassed. It's funny how he's repeatedly called me a narcissist yet displays pretty much all of the characteristics of one.

yep, called him out ages ago and I was spot on. Most other people have seen through the act now. Stumping up his fiver has probably been the worst move he's ever made given how much he appears to value his mongboard reputation
