Apart from tackling and ballwinning  of course

Think you’re still thinking of the Lallana of old - he’s admitted himself that he’s a different type of player now. And anyway, if you’ve a got a player in midfield that can retain high possession Russball is more likely to work.

Is it a punishment for KWP not signing a new contract?

Wondered the same. If not punishment then possibly a concern his focus isn’t right at the minute

I think this shows RM, CAN mix it up, does have a plan b and isn't afraid to drop his favourites. No matter what happens can we drop this lazy narrative?

He only dropped JS, because the F.A. done it for him.

Or, the only reason Stephens isn't playing is because he is suspended.

He dropped Manning early on last season, he's dropped Smallbone. I know he's injured but he's been dropped since then, stopped playing KWP because he's out position and also dropped BBD. Who is playing today that doesn't deserve it?

Serious question does anyone actually like RM's brand of football? Never has a style been more frustrating and boring to watch.  That's said I am prepared for him to prove me wrong but it needs to start today! Anything less than a win against a fellow relegation rival isn't good enough.

Looks a bit lightweight and weak in midfield, and unless Dibling fulfills his promise (tall order for an 18 year old after only three games)not a great deal of threat upfront.

Looks better up top to me simply because this team is filled with creative players. With both Fernandes and lallana in mf and dibling and Fraser wide at least you can see where the creativity is coming from. Unlike our earlier selections with bbd outside and barely any creativity whatsoever

I can guarantee a nuclear meltdown if we lose 3-0.

A 3-0 loss would really fuck my weekend over. We can't be that shite again, can we?

No. I think having KWP playing at left wing back made us unbalanced. I don't think he's been as bad as people seem to be implying. Combined well in first half last week with BBD but let down by the latter, providing scant support when Utd had the ball. I would hazard a guess that Sugawara was bought as a KWP replacement in the event of him being sold in the summer window and that has left us with a problem because he's still here and KWP is more versatile than Sugawara.

Loved it last season. Hate it this season. Because we've lost every game but we won a lot last season. The only "brand of football" I want is a winning one. I couldn't care less if it's possession based or hoofball if it gets us a win.

Yeah, always good to see a manager react to fan criticism rather than doing it of his own fruition... ;) #footieforumbanter

About as fair assessment as anyone can give that. If we were winning it would feel like a much better 'brand'. As we aren't, it feels pointless, ploddy and frankly a bit shit.

We just don't get it forward quick enough (amongst other glaring issues).

How long before the first........

Fuck! or FFS!

of the afternoon?

Pretty quick I'd imagine given that we've done the same thing we've fucked up in the first 4 games.
