I like it when a player clatters another one, gets correctly sent off and the fans boo the player who got kicked for the rest of the match. Like it's his fault for being kicked! Cheering when Bereton Diaz got subbed was classless. Blokes near us were going absolutely mental when Dibling got subbed off even though he was obviously not able to last any longer and cramping up. But then it's not just our fans. A lot of football fans are halfwits. 21
Badger Posted 14 September, 2024 Posted 14 September, 2024 Thought the thread title was going to be about some of our team. But a number of fans equally take the accolade. As for BBD this is his second home league match. He’s done well, Pelle got stick after half an hour.

Cheering BBD getting subbed - it’s not the player’s fault that the manager is playing him clearly out of position. Dibling is only 17. And yes, you’d be hearing similar around the country. 2
a1ex2001 Posted 14 September, 2024 Posted 14 September, 2024 You have to factor in the average IQ of a football fan, the game has always attracted more than it’s share of mouth breathers and knuckle draggers. Didn’t expect a result today, at least it looks like the manager has had a dose of realism and went with a more pragmatic approach and lineup today. 4

Saint Marky Posted 14 September, 2024 Posted 14 September, 2024 Wondered what the plural of these was, cheers Benjii.
