I know, I know. I'm being a d!ck, but need to find something to do, this game is gone... ..surely?

Say it every week and I’ll say it again.

Stephens

Bednarek

BBD

Archer

Do not belong in the premier league.

Unfortunately, could not agree more.  When an 18 year old kid is our best player by a country mile we have real issues (no matter how good Dibling is).  We look bereft of ideas up front (DIbling aside) and ARcher is like a little boy lost (yet another panic signing: clearly not good enough).

BBD has been hopeless and KWP is showing why no decent side was in for him.

Game over - no way Saints score 1 let alone 2.

But literally every commentator knew Russ ball wouldn't work at this level they all said it

And pretty much every fan on here too. SR must think they know something that nobody else does.

That's a ridiculous argument. Tyler Dibling being good isn't a negative indicator for the rest of the team.

At the game. Decent approach play from us but too open at the back. Ramsdale frustratingly gesticulating at the manager every time we fail to close them down on the edge of the box. Would be another 2 or 3 down if it wasn't for a few superb saves from Ramsdale. (Although thought he could've come out to punch the ball for their first...? but was probably relying on our defenders to do their job though?)

Wouldn't surprise me if we reverted to 3 at the back second half

Dibling superb.

Ramsdale v good, would be 6 by now with Baz. Dont know what JS was doing with that corner. Archer poor, BBD no end product.

Downes, Les, Fernades, Dibling all good enough for this league. One magic moment from KWP but again we look completely open down the left when they break.

Neither CB good enough, might as well play THB and Ronnie Pickering next week.

Looks like we're going to be " unlucky " in yet another game.

Yep. People can say unlucky but it ain't.

Piss poor penalty.

Piss poor defending.

Saints slightly more direct in attack but still over-passing and missing runs off the back of Utd's defence. Doesn't help if missing with a free shot from 12 yards out though.

What a silly, drama Queen statements. We very obviously can score at least one goal; it won’t be easy but we’ve played well enough generally to still have a chance of getting something, however unlikely.

If we play like we did in the first 30 minutes all season we'll be fine.

/Sarcasm

Thing is we could/should be but won’t (even if we do, which we won’t) because we have no goalscorers. All a bit depressing really, but tbh we all knew that in all likelihood we were going to struggle badly and so it’s turning out.

We looked decent for about 30 mins, wasted a penalty....

We’ll look good for the first 30 minutes of every game while the opposition sit back and wait for us to shoot ourselves in the foot.

As soon as we threatened, MU upped their game and took control of the game with ease.

I gave Bednarek a pass because he did well in the champ but for him to still be in there, after all that Yanny stuff when he came back from Villa, the comical own goal vs Wolves and then all his comedy defending that saw us relegated. Madness.

The fact that Tyler Dibling is out brightest spark says a lot about the ability of the rest of the attacking players.

TNT absolutely creaming at the fact £300K p/w Marcus Rashford scored a whole goal. The United love in is cringeworthy.

Fuck me playing Stephens at this level is just suicide. Forget it, relegate us now if he’s first choice. Pointless discussing anything else at this point really.

Stephens has over 120 PL appearances, Bednsrek over 150.

How ?

Because any time we got a good CB we sold them to a big club.

We've either not brought in good enough replacements (Hoedt, Caleta Car, etc.) or the better ones were made of glass or had other problems (Salisu, ABK)

Who was talking earlier about commentators mentioning United records to be broken?

Just said they've never lost after being up by 2 or more goals away from home. 5-2 win incoming!

Ramsdale is probably wishing he stayed on Arsenals bench.

He obviously knew we were relegation material, probably a contract clause when the inevitable happens

Why? Even if we go down, he’ll have plenty of opportunities to go to other PL clubs and play regular football.

Andy Townsend keeps saying we're "lightweight".

It's not wrong, technically we're very good, but defensively we're wide open and we offer no threat at goal.

We'll get our money back and more assuming he's going to be facing dozens of shots every game.

Wasn't he quoted as saying he sometimes loses focus in games?

Maybe he came to us because he knew he would be far too busy to ever zone out.

If I looked at the bench now and saw Alcaraz, Onuachu and Sulemana i'd see players there that offer something different to change it. As it is all I see is more of the same with less individual ability.

Commentator: Rashford not scored for 12 games. Check.

Onana has never saved an EPL penalty. Check.

Anyone else in need of breaking a duck? Roll up roll up!

Utd have never lost a game being 2-0 up at half time - be nice to see that broken (not much chance the way we're playing tho)
