I assume the Northam home fans area ie season ticket holders will still have their normal seats. It is just the Away area is how I read it. I put it up in case fans no on thedata base roll up for a ticket after the protest.

Surely they're just saying Swansea have sold the full 3,200 away allocation. Just the normal half of the Northam then.

Let's assume so, for the sake of sanity...

OK Baj, you can step down to Yellow alert.

Surely this is Lowe just trying to stop us singing anti-him songs. ***t. I will be singing even louder than usual. And if they don't let me in with my ST then, in the words of Queen Vic, I will not be amused.... to say the ******* least.

LOWE OUT

It's obviously not the whole northam.

They've just been given the max allocation for a league game.

Unless of course Ruperthas been noting down the seat numbers of all the

"boycotters" and sold them those as well.

I tell you what. If Lowe bought a ticket in the Northam and stood there next to us all for the game it would be a spectacle. come on Rupert, come back from holiday! I'll buy you a beer. No really, I will.

Offer a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon and he might be interested. FACT!

All supporters are advised that Saturday's visitors to St. Mary's, Swansea City have been allocated the full away end for this game.

The Welsh side are expected to sell all their tickets by Friday as demand for tickets has been very high at The Liberty Stadium.

To ensure away fans travelling down on the day without tickets do not gain access to home supporter areas, Saturday's fixture will therefore be DATABASE ONLY on the day of the game.

Change the word "end" to "section" I would venture...

I'll alert CSI Southampton to cancel all time off and prepare for a new case ;)

!! and tell A&E staff to be ready..

(only because i will need my stomach pumped again, not because any harm would come to Rupert) ;)

Wouldn't it be just as fail safe not to sell home tickets to anyone who says "isn't it" at the end of every sentence?

For example:

"Can I have two tickets for the Northam Stand, isnt it?"

p.s. some of my best friends are Welsh

You know what this means - restricted access to Britannia road after the match. That's not going to go down well with thousands wanting to protest outside reception should we lose.

Posted
Could someone please elaborate..

Yes of course.

The Swansea fans are taking all of the fans they are allowed.

I stand at the edge of block 42,which means they will be the other side of the segregation netting,as opposed to being a million miles away as per norm.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking....?

Result of a swift phone call from the Alps perhaps?

See you in block 42.

Oh Rupert, Rupert Rupert.

You never learn do you?

You really think that by doing this you are going to stifle the protests??????

Actions of a running man.....Mikey caught up with you yet??

I wonder if Askham, Richards etc end up go shopping with the wife on Saturday as well...

Oh come on. IF Swansea have sold their entire allocation by Saturday then you can't use stifling the protest as a reason for opening up the Northam. Unless Rupes is actually on holiday in Wales offering blokes on the street tickets to the match.

If, however, the away section is half empty then you might be onto something.

You sure?... It says "Away End".

I think the whole of the Northam can only go to the away fans in cup matches.

Of course, I have no idea what i'm talking about, so feel free to prove me wrong.

So let me get this right, Lowe's masterplan to stiffle the protest is to convince the Swansea fans to buy all their tickets and therefore restrict sales to Saints fans already on the database, knowing full well that fans that want to protest are already on the database as they have been protesting in the stadium already!

Cup games is 15% of ticket allocation (4,800), league games are 10% (3,200), if Swansea sell their full allocation it will mean the two sets of fans are closer to each other but Northam fans will not have to give up their seats unlike in cup ties.

Win or lose there should still be a protest.

it is to stop any Swansea fans getting tickets with the home fans.It will also mean fans wanting to buy a ticket on the day it taking a lot longer than normal.

I'm generally quite optimistic about Saints but I fear for us on Saturday:

Swansea - unbeaten in 12, winning the last four

Saints - worst home record in the football league, one win thus far, yet to win at home at the weekend all season

I've got more chance of being elected pope than we have of winning, in the event the impossible happens I will invade the pitch at fulltime and streak b0ll0ck naked. For those who know me on here, you can quote me on that.

Yeah, that, er, might be my fault. I kinda took the statement literally, especially where it said "Away End" rather than "Away Section".

The Northam isn't the away end, though. And they'd had to have moved all the ST holders by now as well to be able to do such a thing.

No, I realised that soon after. My bad.
