Yay, two out of two in the last couple of days, despite saying both of these would happen a month ago.

Even a week ago I said he’d reach a mutual agreement on deadline day and we’d sign him later.

DT has smashed his keyboard and launched it at the wall. 😏😉

Seriously, it wasn't too difficult to predict.

I think someone is still trying to compensate for spending the entirety of last summer going on and on about how JWP was not leaving Saints.

What was he meant to have done wrong? Is this going back to how he left Bournemouth?

I reckon so - I think Howe still holds a resentment from that.

Anyways, glad to have him back here. Very good squad player for us.

A lot of fans rate Fraser higher than I do, but I do see his value in the squad. I believe he was a bit of a pace merchant earlier in his career and that is on the decline, unfortunately. He also lacks some technical skills which wide players need to beat players. However, he is a very good finisher when given the opportunity and can provide a decent cross. He's also obviously very popular among the squad and the club in general. Also, when I saw him lining up against Gnonto in the play-off final I did fear the worst, but he proved me wrong and he did a very good, solid job. His professionalism also can't be faulted here.

At the start of the summer, I wanted us to prioritise our (reportedly small) resources in other areas. Now, on deadline day we have, Fraser's cost us nothing, a two year deal is probably about right and it means we're no longer turning to Edozie who needs a loan out for the season.

Welcome back.

Happy to see him back. I value a player who puts the team first, and himself second. He brings a different directness on the pich, and will be a very good squad player. He will probably start most matches on the bench, but if he hits a purple patch or two for us during the season when someone else is struggeling for form or injured, it will be worth it.

Welcome back, Wee Man!

We really need to get rid of players in that position. BBD, Edozie, Wee Man, Sulemana all on the books as it stands, Cornet a possibility.

Im a bit meh about this one. Did a decent job last year but was far from a nailed down starter. Not expecting a big impact.

Welcome back Ryan Fraser 😊 it's quite clear from his comments on the App that there was only one thing he wanted to happen this summer and that was come back permanently. Pleased with this 😊

A little strange signing a layer that wasn't first choice in the championship, but nice to have someone that actually wants to be here. Scored some vital goals in the championship off the bench. Hope he can make a similar difference this time around.

I'm pleased he's back - free transfer too with bags of experience. He did a decent job last year too - whether or not he can still do it in the Prem remains to be seen but he's still only 30 - madness really! Seems he really wants to be here, the manager trusts him and the players seem to like him. Thanks to Newcastle too for taking the high road and letting him go.

Delighted - very underrated player, works very hard, team player. Clearly loves us, especially after giving him a chance to see Wembley in full Red and White bloom (see the recordings if you doubt this).

The reaction from the gaffer and fellow players says it all - he’s a valued member of the squad in more ways than one. Rambo and Wee Man adding to the large characters in the squad will be great for unity and feel good factor which will permeate through to supporters. Welcome back Ryan!
