So, 2 of the 3 goals we have let in this season have come from fucking around at the back

That will send us down and bottom of the leagie

When does the transfer window shut for managers?

Russ is having a fucking mare today.  Although to be fair, apart from his lineup and tactics he hasn’t done much wrong.

3 games in, heading for zero points and 2 goals directly caused by the way we play.

Looking forward to all these positive moments. -3 so far...

I hope this is the last time we see this line up. It doesn't work

Formation rather. Well formation and line up.

Nil points, nil goals.

And we have people on this forum blathering on about how players all over will all be desperate to learn at the feet of Russell Martin.

Absolute suicide football.

I'd say 3/3. Aribo could have punted it vs Forest but was looking to make a pass.

We should make that the big flag for next season. Trademark it

For fuck’s sake. Sorry but if you blithely insist ‘this is the way we play and ain’t changing it for no-one’ and this keeps happening as a result then you fuck off.

The reality is we got away with it in the Championship. Teams will just press us every week in this league and we will concede huge amount of goals just like that one.

Well, that’ll be it because we aren’t scoring.

Russ will be gone before he realises if, as he insists, he’s stubborn enough not to change it up.

Same line-up next week for zero goals, see you then.

Aribo got past someone a while back in a one on one. Had he lost it, we would have been in trouble. There is was our player against 2.

I'ts a throwback to Holgate. The players are instructed to play a certain way. It's drummed into them, and over common sense. With 3 at the back, we should always have passing options to get the ball out, and into midfield. There, we were static, took a daft risk and got punished.

Martin will say individual error. But it's more than that. We've been here before. Managers who set us up to play a rigid style, should basically be asking how we can score two, because we will concede at this level.

A lot of people raised this in the championship. We got away with errors at the back a lot. We won’t, as evidence suggests, get away with it at the level.

Russel needs to consider adapting his approach to suit the league he is playing in.

and sort the midfield out.

It's early days but if RM doesn't ditch playing out from the back we just as well not bother!

Well I agree but even more important than that is to pick your best players with no sentiment or loyalty like all good managers do.
