It’s not, we’re 1-1 away to a PL team and playing well enough whilst still lacking a cutting edge. This performance is far better than our cup trips to Sheff Utd and Sunderland under Poch and Koeman, for example.

I know people are allowed their opinions, but my God you must do your nut reading this ill-educated rubbish every day.

I was at Sheff Utd. I remember our fans booing Mane relentlessly that game. We were awful.

I would assume those same fans are the ones we are currently reading on this thread.

No, we're shit, we're always shit, all because our Manager is young, has a philosophy they just can't understand, and is banging Lucy Pinder.

Clearly any minor pluses have to be balanced by the harsh realities of those point🍿

AA totally ineffective why is he still on the pitch…

Because this game doesn't really matter and we need to play him to hope he maybe gets a goal and it increases his confidence?

That's a tad harsh... I've always felt your posts are quite reasonable... ;)

I certainly wouldn't be bringing on Dibling if he was tired with cramp on Saturday. We need him at the weekend.

Half an hour here seems reasonable. He wouldn’t necessarily have started Saturday either.

‘Hope’ lol So not a strategic decision then …

Feel a little sorry for Armstrong. Hes made a couple of good runs in the last few minutes and we’ve not played the pass and gone backwards.

We make any forward ineffective. That's what RM has to sort. Here, it was opening up nicely for AA if we could have got it to him.

You'd be better off caring less about a league Cup game and just treating it as a good chance to see some promising glimpses from some players and taking the positives regardless of the result. It's a lot more enjoyable that way.

Why not play a ball into the box from that attacking free kick? Instead the ball arrives back with McCarthy under pressure. Mind numbing.

More interesting than your posts tbf.
