Someone made a good point on the TSP last weekend. This is a team of players who want to be in the first team, Gillingham was a team of players on the blower to their agents at half time, trying to high tail it out of Dodge.

SAA > SE on the first half showing if yiu want to do direct left winger v right winger comparison. SAA covered a lot more ground and I suspect he’s been given licence to do so- but SE has not - just hugs the touch line as usual.

I think this shows a lot of the graft that Russ has put in that we don’t usually credit. That’s a colossal task to move that many on and recruit well.

Lumley looks less assured on the ball than AMc. Thank goodness he won't be playing in goal for us in future.

I think Les and Fernandes could go straight in to the first team. And surely Sam AA must be ahead of Sam Edozie in the pecking order now.

Now to try and find a second half link that has sound and without a betting ad in the centre of the screen or some russian girl fingering herself!

Only caught the last 10 and highlights.

Lineup not far from what I was hoping for. Nice that, despite the youth, we have a lot of players pushing for first team minutes this season. There are opportunities to impress. Pleased for a lot of them doing well. Despite the level of opposition and changes, we've lost enough of these in the past.

Despite all the changes, some decent link ups, especially for the second goal.

Only one in it, but here's hoping for more of the same second half.

Yep, agree. His demotion from back-up to 3rd choice keeper when Bazunu got injured still baffles me (notwithstanding that it turned out alright in hindsight of course)
