Couldn't find a thread on him, but for those who are interested, he had a good game in the Libertadores last night.

From what I can make out, despite some negative press when we signed him, he's been pretty solid this season so far Sao Paulo, who are currently 6th in the table.

Echo a while back said ths intention is for him to join us rather than GozGoz. Could be a nice boost in Jan and imagine if KWP does go this week we will try to get him sooner.

Torino also wanted him so he obviously has something and on a free its super low risk anyway.

I'm not saying this is true (and in actual fact I doubt it myself as it doesnt make sense to me), but I have heard from a decent source at the club, that we have had discussions with Man Utd about the possible transfer of KWP to them in this Jan window. This may explain why we are bringing Wellington in now.

Thought they needed a proper LB not a RB moonlighting as one, would of thought unless Wilcox has had a word Amorin would be looking in Portugal.

(Btw Welington spells his name with only 1 L.)

There is also the factor that he is being played largely on the left than on the right where he is at his best. I absolutely love KWP. But if we can get anything for him in January I think it makes sense
