Anyone watching Coventry Spurs seeing Fraser Forster having a comedy 5 minutes. Somehow it's still 0-0.

Coventry have been very impressive, 1-0 up now through Thomas Asante. Weren't we linked with him this summer?

And Baca keeper giving 10 yard suicide pass from his box leading to red card , time to bin the twatting around in your own pen area 😳

For those doing it, all about overall control, with the inevitable mistakes being chalked up to individual error (coached out or players replaced) or balanced against the result (and across more than the game it happened in).

In the Everton game, I noted a longer ball from McCarthy. It immediately stretched the play in a way that trying to pass through to the same position, wasn't happening at that time, with Everton pushing onto our defence.

It gave the crowd a lift too, as we got it up the park. So when we can deliver it to one of ours, under control, or win the second ball, it's clearly useful to shape the game.

We've seen us still trying to pass out in some daft defensive moments, with their attack still coming back from set pieces.

Getting it up the park, driving onto opponents aren't things we see when we're in the game. Usually disjointed and too late when we do see them, as it means we're behind.

Everton noticeable for practically never looking to control it. Happy to push into stretched areas without the ball. Their crowd demanded it. I can't help but connect that lack of game management with them losing games from leading positions.

So passing out can work well. But knowing when it's not on or when it needs changed up seems to be an issue.

Ralf's Wolfsburg 3-2 up at HT away to Leverkusen. Seem to recall they were in a bit of a relegation scrap when he was appointed there last season.

They eventually lost 4-3 conceding in 93rd minute.

Familiar ?

Peter Drury is such a drama queen - he's trying to claim that pile of shit will live long in the memory of anyone who watched it. Do me a fucking favour it was a complete bore in the second half.

Roy Keane summed it up. Everyone wetting  themselves over Arsenal defending, Roy “they let 2 goals in”.. 😂😂

He goes way too OTT. He's always shouting in anticipation whenever a shot comes in, only for it to end up 30 yards wide.

When they announced Martin Tyler was off I thought "Thank fuck for that!"

And now, I'd have him back.

Absolutely. Drury drives me mad with his clearly OTT scripted monologues before games start and the way he screams a players name as they take a shot.

This era of football is so weird.

Flicked through all the highlights of the weekends games last night, the amount of chances/goals from giving the ball away from fannying around at the back was eye opening, especially for top flight footie.

From reading the minute-by-minute in the newspaper looks like a lot of crap defending is going on in the Premier League. Saints have competition!

Reports suggest that it’s like we play just with better players

Madness.

When the last time was that someone scored 4 in the first half?

Never apparently in the prem! And nobody has ever scored 6 in a game. He’s got 45 mins to be the first!  Three of Chelsea’s goals have come from trying to play out from the back.

Red alert for RM if we think we will get away with that against them….
