Kyle Walker what a cunt

As pathetic as the play acting was, I do wonder how monumentally dense, even by footballer standards, you need to be to go head to head with another player in 2024 with VAR. It's up there with Stephens against Chelsea as the most astonishingly brainless thing I've seen in football.

What is frustrating is that VAR could correct this sort of shit rather than worrying about interfering armpit. Red for Walker would be 100% justified.

I do wonder if pulling someone's someone hair is violent conduct why isn't the whole headpressing thing too.

Ange, like Martin, is playing the equivalent of the football mind virus.

I may be thick, but I don't understand the payoff. I understand it in theory, but how often does playing out from the back actually completely break down a team of well-drilled Premier League (or even Championship) players.

The risk outweighs the reward significantly, and especially when you have goalkeepers without the capabilities.

The sooner it's gone from our game, the better. It stinks.

Felt sorry for Big Fraser tonight. Worth a look if you haven't seen his two howlers - Spurs were coasting at 3-0 and within a six minute disaster spell it was 3-2. I half expected Ange to substitute him because his head was gone and he had more of a glazed look about him than normal.

Ah, that's a shame. The tators in his first game coming in were mentioning the good saves he was making. I was pleased for him.

Yeah, he's been making some very good saves in games I've watched. Unfortunately, Ange is another who likes to get his keeper involved with passing out and we all know that Fraser is hopeless at it - he's just too slow and cumbersome with the ball at his feet.

Listening to him after the game ... I was having Martin post-match interview PTSD. Mentions of 'moments' and 'philosophy' and other such bollocks. Ugh.

Giving it all the "are you not entertained?"

It's great for the neutral to see you fuck it up spectacularly mate, but the fans won't have it if you stay out the top four and continue winning sweet fuck all.

Hopefully villa smash city and their slump continues, and guardiola calls it a day soon.

Pep is brilliant but his influence to lower end managers’ is frightening.

I think Man City's recent slump is an enjoyment to many. It's surely no coincidence that since we played them and RS had a cosy chat with his superhero that City have fallen off a cliff. Teams like City will always lose a game here and there but this run of defeats is something new for them. He has had it easier than many managers with the huge amount of money at his disposal to buy the very best. This will show whether Pep is a great manager or not. And yes, come on Villa!
