Ran the length of their section gloating. Lots of sad little blue faces on camera just before the final whistle goes. ’Pompey stay rooted to the bottom of the league. Another disappointing night for the newly promoted side’. At least it’s not just us - and no parachute payments for them. Nordic Saint Posted Thursday at 19:16 Share Posted Thursday at 19:16 (edited) Hoddle's just said Galatasaray have had 28 shots at the Spurs' goal so far, 20 of which have come from Spurs players giving the ball away. English teams are being found out in Europe this year with their tippy tappy playing out from the back. It no longer works, not even for the top teams. They're just gifting goals to the opposition. Surely, it's time to stop it. Hopefully, our manager takes note. Edited Thursday at 19:29 by Nordic Saint

Seems a bit outdated really, considering I remember being genuinely impressed by laser shows in the 90s. I like the comments though: Quote I don't know , they are always singing no one lights us , we don't care and then when someone does light them they get upset with that as well Having said that, they beat Leeds that evening so it must have helped. Whatever gets everyone riled up. Edited Friday at 10:22 by Ted Bates Statue
Disco Stu Posted Saturday at 19:16 Share Posted Saturday at 19:16 Brighton leading City 2-1. Fair play to them. Kind of takes the shine off our wondrous 1-0 defeat given they're on track to lose 4 on the trot now. I hope we don't bring out our embarrassing "Pride of the South" banner next matchday. I'm pretty sure they were meant to have happened by now. As our recruitment has shown, it's impossible to replace good players when they're sold, and decline is inevitable. bangkoksaint Posted Sunday at 14:51 Share Posted Sunday at 14:51 Watched the Sheffield derby. With Weds one down mention was made how they were ‘having a right go’ trying to get back into it………a phrase never associated with Saints anymore sadly. Apparently we had agreed a fee for him which was £20m and he chose a higher salary at Ipswich. £20m for a bang average championship striker seemed worse business than £10m for someone who got goals in SHU team last season. But it isnt panning out that way at the moment unfortunately for us!! To be fair to BBD, he has been asked to hug the left touch line for most of his minutes.
