Leeds- clear at the top a few months ago, as things stand now in the play offs. Sunderland well clear of fifth but not much chance of automatic promotion. Is History repeating itself?

They’re doing a Leeds again, unbelievable fall off from them. I almost feel bad for their fans at this point

I suppose it would be preferable to be relegated at home. VAR trying to deny Ipswich a goal is par for the EPL course.

I don't think you need to worry too much about that. The relegation places are done.

And a last minute winner, as it happens. Happy days. And to think Kieran McKenna was being considered for the England job when Southgate went.

It'll almost be a relief to get it done tomorrow.

Yes, think tomorrow show be a relegation party, let’s not have MOTD2 showing some nods  crying. They’ve had a whole season to get used to the idea of going down, shouldn’t be a shock to the system.

you could be a Luton supporter.

staring down a second straight relegation after experiencing the "heights" of the PL.

Brereton-Diaz and Armstrong not very well liked at their loan clubs at the moment.

BBD:

"Brereton-Diaz had one good game since we signed him?"

"his touch is terrible and can’t dribble with the ball at all"

"He’s massively coasting and needs to up it. Poor since he re signed"

"Do we have a receipt for Ben Brereton Diaz?"

"Never seen a professional with a touch that poor. Always goes in the air whenever he’s bringing a ball under."

Armstrong:

"He has to go for purely insisting on picking Adam Armstrong when we have 3 better options up top in Grant, Lankshear, Dike"

"It would appear that Adam Armstrong is a bit shit."

"How many games do either persist with with Adam Armstrong because he’s called Adam Armstrong. I can’t see what he’s offering"

"What does Adam Armstrong do?"

"Has Adam Armstrong got naked pics of Tony Mowbray? He’s been crap yet again"

I had a small glimmer of hope that they could actually do something in the Championship for us next season.

They're only two wins behind Portsmouth Community Football Club though... :)

I still can't see how BBD scored goals for Blackburn. He just doesn't strike me as a footballer when I see him on the pitch.

If one were to believe in the momentum curve philosophy must lauded on here a while back you could argue that it’s all gone downhill since Nathan Jones left

Stoke down there too. Clearly papering over the cracks for a bit when he left them.

Elsewhere, Swansea not going anywhere without Martin and Blackburn finally unable to keep going without AA and BBD.

Our game against Leicester will be an utterly hilarious watch.

I think I know the match when they’ll next score a goal at home.

Two in 11 and nearly a third (says my newspaper). Possibly worse than us then, although Saints could still do a mega disaster in our match there. Is it on telly, it might even entertain the neutrals?

All a bit academic now but are Leicester actually worse than us?

They haven't scored a goal in the league since January. Not one goal.

So, here’s an interesting stat. When Leicester won 3-2 at St Mary’s, that put them onto 9 points from 8 games. We had 1 point. Since then we’ve won 9 points and they’ve only won 8. So in reality they’re even worse than us

From watching the games they've been on TV since RVN took charge, I'd say they are somehow worse than us. We all know the outcome in a few weeks though.

Leicester fans I know think they are in big trouble next season, club in a mess, about half of season ticket holders bothered to turn up last night vs Newcastle.

Think they are trying to muscle in on our record breaking season by setting some new ones of their own , EIGHT home defeats in a row without scoring

Lampard failing his audition for Saints job tonight 🙂

I guess wanting to beat Portsmouth is being balanced out by wanting to fit in with all our other managers, by losing the game. 🙂
