Tbh watching the skates, they look pretty good and would easily dick us on current form.

It's a fucking depressing thought isn't it. Horrible sense of inevitability about it all

Portsmouth showing faith in their manager is paying dividends. Shame we couldn’t do the same.

Which manager should we have had faith in?

The one we sacked for Juric.

Why ? The bloke was clearly out of his depth and had no clue, or it seems intention of making changes in how we set up.

This was clear to every man and their dog by the Bournemouth game at the very latest.

The one that had us on the way towards relegation with a regimental system that had been found out?

Skates beating Leeds atm

As much as I hate seeing them lot down the road winning, Leeds bottling promotion would objectively be very, very funny.

Their home form is the only reason they are staying up. Absolutely awful away.

Current sides and they’d dick us at Fratton. No question about it, our bunch of weasels would bottle it. Hopefully by the end of next summer we’re a different proposition. Hoping we face them away post Christmas.

Juric not being great doesn't, by default, make Russell Martin any good.

He was a dogshit Premier League manager.

Half watching the Man U Arsenal game, I'm thinking: Is this the most boring premier league season ever?

It's more than we have runaway leaders (who really don't need the assistance they get from refs every game) and the bottom three sorted with 10 games to go. The football seems so sterile and there's something sad about the commentators trying to hype it all up. There's too many self-interests for things to change but when the main interest seems to be which team will come 4th and 5th in the league, there's something wrong.

Yeah, it’s a pretty terrible league. As uncompetitive as Scotland this season.

Yeah but if they don't go up, and a weaker team does instead, it makes our promotion challenge next season more difficult (assuming we don't do a Luton).

Yeah I want Leeds to go up this year.

Dont they lose their parachute payments for next season? - if not they must be in their final year so half what they were this season. Financially could make difference to them losing their best players.

They could still be competing for top 2 if they re-invest well although wages will be their issue. They will go up automatically I suspect.

They get a more reduced parachute parent if they don't go up this year

As a product, this season has been woeful for the 'brand'

Absolute nonsense by Sky Sports today if anyone saw it. The video is still on YouTube, but it's been removed from all their social media.

They're trying to proclaim that ex referee Dermot Gallagher is amazing by estimating 10 yards in the studio, somehow oblivious to the fact that anyone watching can see the black mark he's walking to, which is amazingly 10 yards away. Skip to 3min 15 secs -

That's quite funny, the use of ex refs in the media now rarely provides any actual insights, they just agree with whatever decisions have been made on the pitch or by VAR

As an ex referee myself I agree with you. Referees are an embattled bunch and will tend to support each other.
