Great game. That Argyle side has so much potential, wouldn't be surprised to see them stay up.

Those two CB, s put ours to shame with their determination and grit. Left everything on that pitch unlike Saints pussies.

Love seeing Liverpool lose

Pleased for Plymouth

But...makes me even more pissed off when luck of the draw could have seen us progress quite far.

Argyle defender and man of the match Katic drops the fuck bomb live, not once but twice, straight to camera during his post-match interview on mid-Sunday-afternoon ITV.

Marvellous stuff.

Plymouth's new manager, Miron Muslić, arrived on January 10, and then brought in the 2 centre-backs, Katić and Talovierov, at the end of this January transfer window. In their first 2 games this month, they've beaten West Brom 2-1 and Liverpool 1-0. Now, that's what you call decent recruitment. If only we'd had a transfer window that good. I'd love to see Talovierov, especially, here. He's much better than any central defender we've got.

Seemed to have had a full house, wonder how much they charged a ticket?

I think Liverpool was always likely to be a bigger draw for Plymouth fans than Burnley was for Saints fans, regardless of pricing. Not, that I agree with what we charged, which was just silly, but we wouldn’t have sold out even at £15 for adults and kids for a quid.

They were playing Liverpool.

I notice the bin dippers have shut off their RAWK forum after getting done by Plymouth. 😄

They just cannot handle enbarassment. They're full of themeselves until they get beat.

Wankers.

If you mean we may have drawn Plymouth Argyle in the next round they would dispatch is in the same way they did Liverpool. I haven't see a Saints team play with the enthusiasm and determination that the Plymouth players showed yesterday in a very long time.

It shows how quickly things can change though. Plymouth's new manager and their 2 centre-backs, who were the best players on the pitch, only just arrived in this country last month. Before that, Plymouth were really terrible and suffering abject defeats. They are still bottom of the table, but, of course, with all their new arrivals, who also include Puchacz and Boateng from yesterday's game, they won't be down there much longer.

Var taking aeons to potentially wreck a lovely goal. But it stands, right decision morally as well as technically.

Man City with a mountain to climb at the Bernabeu. Oh dear, what a shame, never mind.

RM no different to MC. Nice that one will be knocked out.

I wish we were Plymouth.

Plymouth are on fire. They won again tonight, beating Millwall 5-1. The new manager bounce with Miron Muslić has been phenomenal. They've already beaten Brentford and Liverpool, and some bigger clubs than Plymouth will be trying to get him in the summer.

Don't think he was in charge for the Brentford game.

home team,Brentford
Manager:
Thomas Frank

Formation:
4 - 4 - 2

away team,Plymouth Argyle
Manager:
Miron Muslic

Formation:
3 - 4 - 3

To be fair, he was only officially appointed the day before that game, so he'd done little more than meet the players.

New Plymouth boss Miron Muslic gives incredible first speech to his players! | Football News | Sky Sports

He obviously had much more influence on their recent games v West Brom, Liverpool and Millwall, and he's really transformed a team that looked dead and buried a month ago. If Plymouth can keep him and their new signings, especially their standout new centre-back, Maksym Talovyerov, they'll be a force to be reckoned with next season.

So as a manager he's beaten two premier league teams this season? That's more than Russell Martin or Ivan have managed 🤷🏻‍♂️

Of course VAR upheld the onfield decision in liverpools favour 🤦‍♂️

There was a blatant shove in the back otherwise the Wolves defender would have cleared the ball.

It’s rubbish like this that tarnishes the Premier League.

Yep and the ignoring of the 2nd yellow offence by Konate…. Cant send a Liverpool player off at anfield, it’s in the rules

Konate substituted now to save him from further sanctions. This multiple substitution rule makes a nonsense of disciplinary cautions

Huge dive by Jota. Surely they cancel this pen.

Correct decision eventually. Terrible dive by Jota. He takes off before the defender gets there.

Edit: and poor refereeing.

So are you saying Liverpool get preferential treatment sometime? Surely not a conspiracy theory as on the link below you clearly had a pop at me for suggesting the same kind of bias rules. Care to explain? No need. I know 100% you are a prat who plays the poster not the post. You have just proven it. Big clubs get bias in many situations, nothing conspiracy about it. You just agreed.

Scenes at Elland Road tonight. 🙄 I thought losing Gray, Kamara, Summerville and Rutter in the summer would affect them, but they're top of the league and 7 clear of third.

They did replace them with quality though (Some bought, some returning from loans), Solomon, Tanaka, Ramazini, Aaaronson, Rodon, Struijk etc are all top tier players for that level. Add that to the likes of James, Gnonto, Ampadu, Firpo, Gruev, Piroe who were already there. Pretty formidable outfit really, with a bit more balance this year to my eyes.

Oops!

One of my local teams conceded their 4th of the day, when the goalie threw over a water bottle to a full back, who then proceeded to chat to the manager as our opponents went through and scored. Keeper has gone, fullback not started and manager gone. That was as useless as I've seen.
