SaintsBarry74 Posted 14 December, 2024 Posted 14 December, 2024 They let in 3 goals after subbing Danny Ward in who's probably the 2nd worst shot-stopper the premier league has ever seen (worst is Baz).
LiberalCommunist Posted 14 December, 2024 Posted 14 December, 2024 What’s on earth is going on at Wolves? Why are players being restrained at the final whistle.
obelisk Posted 14 December, 2024 Posted 14 December, 2024 Wolves will at least be pleased to have played Saints in the middle of their run of defeats.

Harry_SFC Posted 14 December, 2024 Posted 14 December, 2024 (edited) The Ipswich points tally so far puts to bed the crap people are spouting about our squad "just not being good enough". Ipswich arguably have a weaker squad than us but have a much better manager who is trying to grind out results, the opposite of what out manager is doing. Edited 14 December, 2024 by Harry_SFC 18
Tommy Mulgrew Posted 14 December, 2024 Posted 14 December, 2024 Kevin Phillips 2: Kelvin Davis 2. Ormerod scores in extra time to deny Eastleigh a win at Fylde. Oh, what happy memories those names conjured up. 4

chownie20 Posted 14 December, 2024 Posted 14 December, 2024 Wolves should have won that, switched off for the last kick of the game which was a corner. However, Ipswich had an attacker miles offside right in front of the Wolves keeper yet VAR deemed it fine. Armstrong at Brighton? Consistency? 1

SWLondon Saint Posted 14 December, 2024 Posted 14 December, 2024 (edited) Look at all these idiot other teams getting last minute set pieces and putting it in the mixer, haven't they seen our amazing 1-0 loss at City and figured out the way to get praise from the other manager is to pass it back to the keeper instead of trying to land it on your tallest player's head? 🤯 Edited 14 December, 2024 by SWLondon Saint 4 2

McKenna is MANAGING - analysing the opposition, scheming, working out ways to win and to scrape to safety in the first season up with the hope of building on from there. Our tw@t is simply ploughing on match after match playing exactly the same way regardless of the opposition, their strengths and weaknesses and ours, and the piss poor results that approach has achieved so far and will continue to achieve. FarehamSaintJames Posted 14 December, 2024 Posted 14 December, 2024 We need to sack off this weird hybrid back five experiment. We can’t defend so why bother chucking another player at the back. Stick that additional player up top. 2

Osvaldorama Posted 14 December, 2024 Posted 14 December, 2024 I know we are as good as down, so it shouldn’t matter… but every single Ipswich late goal really annoys me. It’s an absolute disgrace that they’re so much better than us. We are run by fucking idiots and i get angrier about it every weekend. DISGRACE 2 2
Badger Posted 14 December, 2024 Posted 14 December, 2024 Problem with the Wolves -Ipswich result is that we get double damage from this, Ipswich get the points, Wolves likely to sack their manager and improve. 1

HarvSFC Posted 14 December, 2024 Posted 14 December, 2024 Aston Villa have kept two clean sheets in the league this season. You just have to actually get shots in against them.

FarehamSaintJames Posted 14 December, 2024 Posted 14 December, 2024 Wolves’ Ait Nouri had a meltdown at the final whistle. Cunha raised his hand towards an Ipswich staff member. Are they going to have anyone left to lose next weekend?
FarehamSaintJames Posted 14 December, 2024 Posted 14 December, 2024 On a side note, further to the previous Ruud comment I made earlier. 1) Amazing how all those fans that wanted him have gone quiet. 2) They’ve conceded 74 shots against them since he took over. 😂

I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Gary O'Neil has gone. I didn't like his post-match comments. Says they are the hardest team he has ever worked with and are unable to grasp the basics. If that's how he feels then talk to them about it but I can't see it does any good rubbishing them publicly. 1

FarehamSaintJames Posted 15 December, 2024 Posted 15 December, 2024 I don’t blame O’Neil, I’d be sticking around to get that bumper payoff. A bit like RM. Leicester sacking their manager, Wolves now sacking theirs - it’ll be interesting if suddenly SR have a change of heart. It happens every season, no club wants to be the first but once one does the rest tend to fall like dominoes.
