Another philosophy nonce who doesn't think he has to adhere to the basics of football because he's got a vision getting thoroughly found out.

We can turn Spurs over next up. They haven't got any fit centre backs.

Might have to radically alter our tactical approach to include shooting, though.

I know it won't matter but seeing Ipswich bottle in the last couple of minutes is very satisfying

Its bloody fantastic. It's happened again eh. 120m spent, they're turning on Paddy Mckenny, and they look even worse than us (double our points though).

Taylor refereeing the Spuds Chelsea game how bad was he again? there should have been 2 red cards and there could have been a very similar goal outcome in the 68 th min ,again similar ,actually worse case scenario than ours. These schoolboy errors by our most senior officials need looking into .

When we played Liverpool, they kept kicking the ball into our box from wide areas. I think they call it a "cross". We could try that!

We keep kicking it into our own box from all positions including from the edge of our opponents box, no one does that, we are setting new standards

PGMOL is rotten, has been since its formation. Every major tournament, other countries supporters have to put up the type of blunders in open play and added VAR ineptitude English officials bring to it.

What it really needs is for one of these teams keepers to pass the ball to a defender facing his own goal with 3 attackers breathing down his neck, to open this game up a bit I reckon

Not these two sides no, that’s why we are the peoples club. We give so much back in the name of entertainment. Russell has even said ā€œwe aren’t here to grind out resultsā€ - and fair play to the boy. The football purists don’t want to see that sort of shit, they want to see teams with 5 points in December bringing the ball out from the back with the swagger of prime Bobby Moore, before walking the ball into 3 oncoming attackers and providing them with an empty net to roll said ball in to.

How was that not a penalty? It’s totally shit when you are down the bottom

Should've had 2 penalties I think. Also West Hams second could have easily been ruled out for a foul in the build up.

Then again they got the two big decisions against us so swings and roundabouts.

It's early days but there is a bit of daylight between 17th and the bottom 3. It will be interesting to see Wolves reaction to losing to another bottom half team. Will they do an SR and pretend everything is fine or sack O'Neil before the New Year?

Eleven points separate 3rd to 14th.

Imagine if we were actually even half decent…

Mario Lemina had a tantrum at the final whistle last night. šŸ˜‚

Just watched Girona and Liverpool,  ended 0-1.

Gazzaniga in goal and Romeu taking no prisoners in midfield (he's on loan from Barcelona)

Girona put in a decent performance but lacked a bit of quality in the final third.

The first one came straight after Guy Whittingham commented on the BBC thread ā€˜Pompey need to get the Derby fans on their players’ backs’. Delicious irony.

Seen the goals on Sky, they’re as bad as we’ve been conceding.

3-0 down after 30 minutes. Good start to the weekend, so far. But I think Derby are a bit vulnerable as well, so just hope this isn’t the game where they implode

Comes to something where we can’t even sing ā€œwe’re the shittest team in Hampshire ā€œ after how we’ve been playing.

4-0 and it’s an own goal. Derby start resting players. Skates have conceded 24 goals away, worst in that division.

Rasmus and Kraft are probably thinking ā€˜let’s offer Mousinho the job as assistant to Russell’.

Skates have been shite this season, and should be cut adrift but frustratingly some of the others down there are having a worse time of it.

Just think it’ll be hilarious if they miss out on their derby because we both get relegated.

He's always been the same. Scored the goals you wouldn't expect him to but misses the ones he should put away. That said I'd certainly have him over Armstrong and BBD. Archer yet to prove an upgrade either.
