No age at all,very sad

I went to the funeral yesterday of a friends daughter who had been courageously fighting various cancers for the last four years, finally succumbing on July 2nd aged just 43. She was brought up with my kids, Andy it was heartbreaking. One of my sons was very close, just three weeks older.

I lost a very close friend 4 years ago Dave,he died 3 weeks after he was diagnosed with cancer,he was as hard as nails and only 65. It is very, very sad that so many wonderful human beings die of such a hideous disease,we can only hope that there is a cure found soon. I am sorry for your families loss Dave.

Dreadful. And to think I'm going to the funeral of someone on Thursday who was more than double that age and would probably gladly have given his last 20 years away so that someone else could have longer. Not fair at all.
