Given Lallana was pulled out of the Eastleigh game due to “a slight issue” you would expect him to be up to a gentle workout in front of some fans tbh

I can't imagine for one minute that the club would underplay injuries to certain players.... no-sir-eee ;)

BBD about to show he can run. Gets round of applause for doing length of the pitch 😂image.thumb.jpg.c3c24b287203249924e2f6147f28ed98.jpgNot being nasty but he looks slightly timbersome to me. Maybe that’s why he’s the only one allowed to run pitch lengths.

Yuki looks like he really loves the ball. Juggling and doing tricks n generally playing with it. Most enthusiastic trainer today award goes to him for sure. Least to TP - watching him in Rondo was painful.

Will it be getting onto 7 months since we last saw Stewart kick a football?

Somewhat unbelievably it's actually only two and a half months.

He played 7 minutes away at Leeds last day of the season, and then 18 away to West Brom in the playoff first leg.

Fair enough I'd forgotten. Even weirder then that we aren't seeing any sight of him at all.

That's how Martin describes loads of these injuries. Sometimes he will say it's a bad one but otherwise he downplays it and then you end up not seeing the player for weeks.

Pleased to see KWP with big smiles. Such a decent man really friendly really calm and kind image.thumb.jpg.6d5a1ca2e80cb9ab9f13c36dd6a2b2f8.jpgwith the crowd here.

Different with a couple of Malibus down him, a right handful then...

At the risk of sounding stupid, who is TP?

Sry that’s Paul Onuachu. Aka Tall Paul.  He did not come out to sign shirts but both KWP and BK did. As did a good dozen others from the squad.m including all thff Ed goalies, Flynn, Jack, Sam amo etc.  Make of that what you will. I’m just hoping that he ends up staying and becoming the German international centre back we thought we had!

Stewart must have had yet another set-back then as Russ said last week that he expected him to be back in training this week....

Seeing that he was fit enough to be on the bench at Wembley, it makes you wonder what he's been doing in the last 2 months.

Yeah. Seems fairly obvious that we're not being given the full and/or true story at the moment (which is obviously the club's prerogative)

It might be that Stewart has a big injury set back which necessitates (even more so) the need for another one. If it was public knowledge then perhaps teams we approach will know this and assume we are more desperate meaning we end up paying more. So by keeping it quiet we be better placed in negotiations.

Fair point, although "keeping it quiet" is a fairly big giveaway that something isn't right.... Damned if we do, damned if we don't, I guess...

Would you have turned down a free ticket for the best seat in the house for the play-off final?
