Where does Stephens fit in?

With Edwards and wood here and thb are bednarek where does Stephens fit in?

Likely we'll play 3 at the back quite a bit, so he'll be third CB ahead of Wood and Edwards, at least in the short term

Feel like he can step up into a defensive midfield role. It's about time he is given a chance....🎣

If Edwards is as good as is being suggested he will possibly be the third centre back alongside Janny B and THB so Jack will be on the bench and come on to tighten things up near the end (said whilst firmly biting my lip 😂)

If I had my ideal, Jack Stephens would revert to "club captain", which I believe was a role Franny had when he was here in his latter days.  Often not picked in the side but he was the main man around the club.  Flynn Downes as the team captain.
