Standing up in parliament and saying you’re a solicitor when you’re not, isnt a mistake, it’s a lie…

I don’t think it’s acceptable and is a lie IMHO, as was Schapps selling Ponzi schemes as Michael Green and Jenryck’s various corrupt activities. The stuff around Reeves I don’t like much either, even if it’s a bit more opaque.

You should know about that. Both Johnson and Farage, people you support, are both liars on a far greater scale.

Saying that you are the youngest ever cabinet minister which can be easily proven wrong is not only lying but is incredibly stupid but what else would you expect from Honest Bob Jenrick?

Are you not going to join us here to put us all right with your wisdom and superior view?

The country needs major electoral and constitutional reform, but that would be Turkey's voting for Christmas, so it won't happen.

There’d be chutney flying everywhere as he cheered on Kier and jeered at Kemi.

Sadly there will no chutney activity for another 5 weeks. It takes time to mature. Having said that, it is a week old and still more mature than some posters here. 😉

Trump says he is likely to back the Chagos deal.

I really don’t understand the furore about the Chagos being handed back. It’s been talked about for many years, negotiations started under the previous government. Biden green lighted it, Trump will likely do the same. So why all the fuss, particularly from the Tories?  Genuinely don’t get it.

Ditto. We nicked them, but need Diego Garcia. Giving back what we don't need and being able to use what we do seems entirely sensible.

Badenoch better in PMQs today. Perhaps she has been getting some coaching? It is a complete waste of time though. I can’t remember when I last heard a PM answer a question properly and I have been listening since the days of Johnson. Perhaps the Speaker should insist that the PM cannot sit down until they have given a cogent response? Either that or just get rid of it all together and find a better way of questioning the PM than this circus.

PMQs is music hall slapstick knockabout, it is not intended to be serious.

Then why bother?

Fuck knows, but if you watch most 'debates' and statements in the HoC you'll be lucky to see more than 30 MPs in there. What goes on there is either scripted theatrical farce or an example of why MPs should be paid strictly by attendance.

Or performance.

Badenoch again demonstrates her complete inability to understand why she is not fit to be anywhere near Parliament. She hasn’t seen the programme apparently but still manages to have an opinion on its content but also manages to shoe horn another issue in order to try and appeal to Faragists. Worse still, her opinion about the programme she says she hasn’t seen appears to based on Musk’s comments on X.

Badenoch demonstrates once again what a nasty piece of work she is. Now she sides with a foreign regime over democratically elected colleagues going about their lawful business.

To be fair, I agree with the notion of what she is saying, not necessarily the way she said it.

Why do UK MPs have a 'right' to visit Gaza? Who pays for them to do so, who pays for their security?

The UN is in Gaza to oversee and record the war crimes, not sure what difference two MPs are going to make?

Besides where do you draw the line, what if 450 MPs all decided they needed to go to Gaza.

Not sure where these guys are MPs but presumably they have work in their own constituencies to do?
