Marsdinho Posted 28 January, 2009 Posted 28 January, 2009 I have a user that has forgotten the pasword for an excel file. Does anyone know of any software that can unlock it. Ive found a few but they either take a few days to crack it or you have to pay for it. I cant wait for a few days, nor do I want to pay for the password to be cracked. There must be a free one out there....???
Master Bates Posted 28 January, 2009 Posted 28 January, 2009 Sounds like you have an issue. Can't you go in through the backdoor?
saint_stevo Posted 28 January, 2009 Posted 28 January, 2009 Doesnt Hirens do that sort of thing? I would google it, but my firewall blocks it all!
St Landrew Posted 28 January, 2009 Posted 28 January, 2009 Suggest the user remembers the password..? And perhaps develops a little memory technique to stop it happening again.
Marsdinho Posted 1 February, 2009 Author Posted 1 February, 2009 Any update? Yeah, they decided in the end that they could just recreate the doc. She remembered the password the following day !!! PMSL
