Disco Stu Posted 17 May, 2024 Author Posted 17 May, 2024 No Adams. Strange as I thought he was touch and go for the first leg.

kjurwi Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 kwp and Fraser wingbacks. Back 3 Bednarek THB and Stephens. Brooks for Mara

Lighthouse Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 I’m guessing a back four, with Stephens at LB. It worked at the Hawthorns earlier in the year.

bpsaint Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 As good as can be I suppose. At least Mara isn’t starting.
Convict Colony Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 Stephens RB, he did the job there v Brom earlier in the season, KWP on the left

Dark Munster Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 Replace Brooks by Tall Paul, have Fraser as wing back, and I'd be happy with the line up.
coalman Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 Given Adams is out, Stewart can't start and Mara is... not sure what else we could do. Sad to see Brooks starting

kjurwi Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 Would have preferred Edozie or Sulemana over Brooks. 2

SNSUN Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 Great photos from the ground lads. Jealous. I'm working nights tonight so have to give up the Sky before the final whistle so I'm really hoping we get the job done without extra time or I'll miss it. Line up iffy. I still think having the 3 cbs blunts our attack somewhat. But we will see. 100 per cent effort lads. We haven't had many days as Saints fans to cheer. Hopefully tonight we can have one so at least we can have a day out at Wembley. 1

Suhari Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 Evening. Shitting it. Brooks needs a performance tonight. COYRs.
saintant Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 Weak front line without Adams. Maybe RM should have risked Stewart as he's more or less said he's ready. 2

Yeah, he's either ready or he isn't. Play him if he's ready, surely...? No need to be risk adverse for this game.... 2

bangkoksaint Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 If Che isn’t fit enough even for the bench in such an important game then I doubt we’ll see him again, even if we get to Wembley.

NewYorkSaint Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 Here's little old me with a modest request... This is such a giant game. Our whole season on the line... and potentially more, given the consequences of who all we'll lose if we don't go up. Any chance that - just for this one match - we lean positive. Act as if we actually believe in this team, this manager, this club. Feel the excitement, the possibility, the joy of loving football... even if we go a goal or two down early. I mean if there's ever a day to be a happy-clappy supporter, surely this is that day? C'mon, you oh-so-cool dyed-in-the-wool cynics, snarkers and snipers! You can do it! This is it!!! 1
bangkoksaint Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 If that is the case with Che then it’s an awful indictment on him and football. Let’s forget him and get the job done!

SNSUN Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 Daughter in bed, wife making Fajitas. Sky is on. Let's do it. UTS Thankfully with the Euros ahead of us the football doesn't end here. But it's not quite the same not having Saints playing.

His contract would only kick in on 1st july, every game between now and then is a massive risk for him as he could be injured and been unemployed for a year. I am sure he would still try his best but subconsciously it would effect him in tackles etc.
