The TV commentators praised the groundsman for the condition of the pitch..  I expect he was spitting feathers after the invasion. Will Che be picked for the final even if fit considering  how well the front three played.

I think we have played really well without him. Never a proper finisher for me.

At half time with it 0-0 I decided to get to the stadium (couldn't get a ticket)and drove from the other side of Salisbury at break neck speed to get to the ground, ditched my vehicle and ran to the ground and got in as the gates were open. Just to sample the atmosphere. I managed to see a few minutes but just to breathe in the joy was fantastic.

And did you get on the pitch?

There’s a really good vlog from one of the baggies regulars on you tube. We saw him chatting to saints and baggies fans outside the store before the game. Defo worth a look as it captures the whole of SMS going wild and the atmosphere in general from an away perspective. Total scenes on block 1-3. Kudos to the lad who makes it, respectful, knowledgeable and fair and shows up the pikeys who kicked off as the twats that they are.

Especially after all the knobs doing knee slides all over the pitch

I’m pretty sure it gets dug up and relaid every summer anyway, so I doubt he gives a hoot.

What a shame a load of morons felt the need for a pitch invasion and goading the away fans. Derby did the same to us and I thought they were horrendously small time for it.

Pitch invasion for getting promoted - fine. But we’ve won nothing yet

Exactly this. Classless and morning goading. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a few accounts put on hold - from all the videos, identification won’t be hard.

As we were walking out there was a young girl asking her dad if she could get on pitch. He said no then relented. Don’t see why people are worked up about some fans going on pitch and enjoying themselves. As for tinpot - we aren’t fucking Millwall and never will be

Good father-son combo channel. I've seen a couple of their vlogs previous and they're very respectful of the opposition and always look to mingle with the opposition fans. I immedietely thought of these two when those pricks stormed the pitch to goad the away end. Very embarrassing.

Nothing wrong with fans going on the pitch. The players did a lap of appreciation after the Stoke game, they didn’t need to do another one.

A shame more than a few muppets had to give it the big one though, no need. I was at Derby so I know how it feels to be on the other end, just enjoy your own win ffs.

I didn't go in the pitch but like others can see why people do it, run around and celebrate, fine. It's the overweight chav scum sliding on their knees and waving their triple XL t-shirts above their heads that got me. Put your tits away lads, no one wants to see it.

Completely different emotions to the sStoke game. Wasn’t watching any goading but sure the 10yo girl and her dad weren’t part of that

Incident in the Chapel/Itchen corner, what happened? Was watching from the Itchen and one ‘security officer’ was very heavy handed and aggressive in the situation.

Yeah saw that. Think just trying to get hold of one lad who was resisting then his mates chipped in. One of stewards with dreadlocks was relishing it.

Funniest scene in front of block 9 was some enormous fat fucker try and jump the rather small anti-longball hoarding, trip and go over like a beached whale. Top comedy moment.

What a night that was. It was like a Wembley final outside the ground, the atmosphere and the electricity in the air, you could just tell everyone was bang up for it. The photos and videos of the bus arriving are class too, like many I thought it could be a bit noddy but the fans that turned up were a credit to the club.

Sorry Oldandtired  I meant to quote the bit about going onto the pitch that you quoted with the video. Buggered it up 🤣

Even though the message was put out numerous times not do it, the morons still decided to do it. Saints are going to be fined. I would have liked to have seen the players come out again but the dickheads ruined that as well. Very clever!! At least some of us had the common sense to stay in the stands. If you can't follow a simple instruction there's no hope.

Totally agree it was an awesome night, great result, great atmosphere and then spoilt by morons. Then some posters on here even condone the behaviour it is mind boggling that you set that example for kids. Personally it spoilt our night not being able to clap the team on the pitch after that performance. Also if you thought it was good and harmless look at all the bad press, possible club fines and subsequent bad reputation of the supporters from the actions of muppets. Well done to those that allowed/encouraged their kids to go on the pitch and BREAK THE LAW fine example of what is wrong with society today

The iPad auto rotates the image to display it but is still taking it upside down then sending the upside down version when you share it if you hold it the "wrong way" around. The forum software simply displays what it sees without trying to interpret the Apple specific metadata attached to the image.

Thanks for looking but I don’t think that’s it. I originally posted the image whilst I was in the stadium using my Samsung S21 phone. It appeared inverted in the post. Eventually I later managed to rotate the photo on my phone and I tried posting this inverted version. This is also displayed inverted, I.e unchanged. I shall have a look on my desktop PC Chrome browser.

It’s almost as though something about the forum mechanism is deciding which orientation the image is going to be.

Who needs a lecture from you?

Literally no one, you have zero idea how people bring up their kids or the societies we respectively live in.

What an example you must provide society in generalising calling people morons. What a beacon of light you must be.

Really hope I get stuck next to you at the next dinner party I attend 🥱

Is anyone getting worked up at people on the pitch? As I said yesterday, happy for people to have a quick run around but then to goad the away fans and hang around on the pitch for so long that the players and manager don't get to come out and celebrate is complete twattery.

I take it from that you went on to the pitch then? If not, do you condone the actions of those who did? Saints will get a fine. After numerous tannoy messages and messages on the screens people still did it. Yes , they are morons. If they cannot follow the simplest of instructions, then that is what they are.

Does that mean you agree with the behaviour of the people who went on the pitch against the requests, law breaking and severely damaging the clubs reputation? Also probably incurring fines taking away money the club could put towards the team? (Even Leeds fans are able to take the high ground after the antics of the minority) I am not sure whether you were at the game but morons may be slightly more polite than the the chanting of "w@nkers" that a large proportion of the crowd still in the stands were singing. I am not here to lecture you at all just expressing my disappointment that after a great night I had to leave feeling, like a lot of others I spoke to, rather down that we were not able to clap/cheer the team as we would with any other win. Sadly for you, you are not likely to be invited to any dinner parties I attend 😀

I get the impression that all those Stone Island wannabe hooligans would have shit their pants if the police and stewards let the West Brom fans on the pitch.

I was pissed off at our noddy fans invading the pitch after the game.  Every single one of them.  Fucking muppets.

well the police have now said 2 have been arrested and no doubt a few more will have banning orders once they have been identified. May even miss Wembley due to it, fools.

That's odd.

As has been mentioned, it's against the law to go on the pitch.

The Bizzie's must be incompetent to only arrest two people from the thousands that were on there!

Maybe they already have the Christmas fund topped up, so didn't need the extra money from fines? Or maybe it's not that much of a big deal at the end of the season? Besides, does that law even count once the season has finished - it'd be pretty weird fining thousands for being on the pitch during a take that concert.

Fuck me I bet you go off on one when you see a driver doing 21mph in a 20 zone. Tutting that the rule of law has gone.

Likely only arrested those they saw try and punch a steward or a cop.

How are they physically meant to arrest 5000 people in one go?

They don't have a Christmas fund which is topped up from fines. They can't do that.

What's the fine for running on the pitch? £100? Would cost more in police time to do the paperwork, just not worth it when it's done on mass scale.

I reckon they'll watch the CCTV and see if they can nick anyone for public order offences or other assaults but that will be it.

The club may identify some and ban them though, that's up to them.
