Keep him fresh and maybe he'll start at Wembley.

I'd argue that Stewart is already fresh, he needs more playing time.

Right. What do we reckon my chances are of a final ticket? Travelling from Barcelona and will pay the necessary to be there - should I book me flights before getting a ticket?

Another McCarthy clean sheet incoming...?

Looks that way... A much more assured presence in goal it has to be said

Played pretty well. Not perfect, but the workrate when we didn't have the ball was outstanding. Hussled and pressed and made them turn the ball over a lot. Very happy with that.

Very much night and day half’s.

1st half, slow and conservative with bucketloads of possession but little goal threat.

2ns half passing so much quicker and more positive. Didn’t gave the same level of possession but were 10 times more threatening.

2 nicely worked goals and a clever dive by manning (after ref knew he’d dropped a clanger over the earlier blatant penalty on brooks)

roll on the final.

Stressful until the goal thought they might nick a goal and do us but in hindsight it was as comfortable a win as you’ll see. Brilliant atmosphere, Saints fans should be proud, several times the commentators commented on how great the atmosphere was. A commanding performance in control from start to finish. Well done everyone. Now let’s do it again at Wembley

Much better second half when we moved the ball with more purpose. Great finishes by Smallbone and AA to secure a well deserved victory. Well done to RM, his coaches and all the players. Now let's finish the job at Wembley.

Well, we did a job.

2 good goals and a penalty that I think was a gift from the ref as he probably saw the replay in his dressing room at half time and looked to make amends.

Shame we couldn't have kept a clean sheet but I don't think they could be bothered.  They still have a game to play.

Onwards and upwards.  Hopefully Russ will have a few surprises for Leeds .

After us beating them every game this season I would be worried if I was them.

COYS.

Smiles all round.

Agreed, we're not some minnow who hasn't experienced the Prem in our entire history.

Interesting that most seemed to be younguns.

Hopefully not blowing their collective loads a bit early.
