That's the wrong way round. certainly need a little more invention in the final third. Fraser, Aribo and Brooks not really looked to take anyone on or drive at oponents (apart from the one lungbusting run by Brooks). 2
GrumpyYorkshireSaint Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 Do you think the lads have been told not to shoot because if we score they get the ball back and that goes against our possession stats?

Rarely we agree but you're spot on here. Amazes me that more people don't employ the "if the shirts were swapped" technique of judging how a game is going. 1 2
Thereisonlyonemickychannon Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 Why is Smallbone on the pitch? 2 1
igsey Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 Think we should see Stewart on sooner rather than later. AA needs to be on the right wing, he's much more effective there. 1

Fraser did win the ball and charge forward but then had to pass back once near the corner flag and it fizzled out yet again.

Their keeper has barely had to do anything to do, that’s not being outplayed off the park.
Convict Colony Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 Downes been excellent, everyone else a pass mark, though not seen much from aribo/ smallbone or fraser

They have become a parody of themselves - it feels like there are a lot posters who's wives have told them they fancy Russ, and they're jealous of the sticky fingers being due to him. 1 2

Both have a game plan and are playing it quite well, the game could go either way. I don’t know why anyone would expect differently, Norwich’s collapse yesterday was very much the exception, rather than the rule. 2

WBA doing a number on us. Yes WBA have unleashed a host of shots McCarthy has had to batten down the hatches - NOT. One of their only two creative forwards has been nailed to the defensive 1/3 because we have been good. WBA are no mugs and they are very well organised. It’s ridiculous to imagine we can stroll through them like 1970s Brazil when they are clearly so focused on defence. 1
adrian lord Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 Fear our lads will tire after all that hectic yet unproductive charging around, and if the subs aren't judicious, WBA might have us.
badgerx16 Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 AA is nowhere near as effective through the middle, Che is a big miss as he allows Arma to come in from wide positions.
SNSUN Posted 17 May, 2024 Posted 17 May, 2024 Lovely strike. Fucking lovely. Now WBA have to push on.
