Lots on here clearly not watching the match, or at least seeing what they want to see. Just the finishing touch missing.

Seems maybe you are the one not seeing what is actually happening.

I don’t know what game most of you are watching. If this lot had swapped shirts before the game, you’d all be saying we’d be thoroughly outplayed all over the park, were lucky to make it to HT and can only see one winner.

Nailed on Saints victory then...? ;)

Martin's tactics require us to play dangerous passes around our own box and safe passes around theirs.

That's the wrong way round.

certainly need a little more invention in the final third. Fraser, Aribo and Brooks not really looked to take anyone on or drive at oponents (apart from the one lungbusting run by Brooks).

Rarely we agree but you're spot on here. Amazes me that more people don't employ the "if the shirts were swapped" technique of judging how a game is going.

Fraser did win the ball and charge forward but then had to pass back once near the corner flag and it fizzled out yet again.

Their keeper has barely had to do anything to do, that’s not being outplayed off the park.

They have become a parody of themselves - it feels like there are a lot posters who's wives have told them they fancy Russ, and they're jealous of the sticky fingers being due to him.

The thought of seeing Smallbone on the pitch again next season horrifies me.

Whats he done wrong tonight?

the lack of physical presence up front has been a problem for us

Yep, if Stewart were playing in place of Brooks we'd have looked a lot better but once again the wing backs are not getting forward enough.

It’s a very finely balanced game between two of the five best teams in this league. Both have a game plan and are playing it quite well, the game could go either way. I don’t know why anyone would expect differently, Norwich’s collapse yesterday was very much the exception, rather than the rule.

Isn't Fraser playing wingback?

mmm. Never threatened their goal in 46 mins of huffing and puffing and possession domination. WBA doing a number on us.

Yes WBA have unleashed a host of shots McCarthy has had to batten down the hatches - NOT. One of their only two creative forwards has been nailed to the defensive 1/3 because we have been good.

WBA are no mugs and they are very well organised. It’s ridiculous to imagine we can stroll through them like 1970s Brazil when they are clearly so focused on defence.
