Sadly you can see that not being to us. You can see the wba game plan. Sit deep frustrate and catch us late. We need a goal

Equally you can say our game plan is to keep the ball, keep possession, keep probing and patiently wait for a decent chance. We’re playing it well so far, I see nothing to be upset about, yet. I think most neutrals who aren’t infected with Saints paranoia would fancy us, watching this.

We are SO boring. You can have all the build up play you like but if you don’t have any directness and shots in the final third you will never score or win. Which is why Martin’s style is so bad. On our winning run we had a bit of directness. That has all been squashed out of us and is completely encapsulated by Smallbone’s tedious pass back style. This could all end very badly.

True but we haven’t created anything and the final ball has been poor

I'd like to see Stewart get the full second half, with AA moved to the right.

Need more of a presence up top.

This, but I suspect Russ will arbitrarily wait until 60 mins. I still maintain Stewart should've started. If he's ready, he's ready...

This is going to end with a maximum of 1 goal.

The real risk is that west brom will change things up after 60 mins and attack and catch us off guard...

Loads of possession, well on top until we get to their defensive 3rd. They are clearly dropping everyone deep behind the ball, but we are pretty slow moving it forward and not being particularly brave (yet) in an attacking sense.

Got to be better going forward than this
