Does anyone know whether the Goztepe club shop will ship to the UK? Had a look but when you get to the payment options there is no international shipping. Their new shirt is a beaut.

Why on earth would you want their stuff?

Big clash for Goz today...

Fenerbache had a tough midweek match in Champions League Qualifiers.

Lost 3-2 on aggregate in the Champions League Qualifiers 2nd leg, conceding a pen in the 118th minute.

Tired legs may even up the challenge.

Turkish football is a joke 😂

Seem to remember a goalkeeper getting attacked with a flagpole while someone else was badly injured from a firework in the face not too long ago.

As one of the least costly squads in the league, our greatest talent is physical combat. There are those who are disturbed by the loan of 2 players from you, but if Sport Republic wins, 2 clubs also win indirectly. There is no other club that allows you to train your players.

Almost certain that none of the players sent to you will ever play for us unless we get relegated.

They will never ever play for us whilst we are in the Premier League. Highly unlikely they will play for us ever.

There is no benefit for Southampton in this ownership model

Impossible to know that.

How did Juan do?  I saw he set the goal up? I bet that place was rocking last night.

Premier Lig'de olduğumuz sürece bizim için asla oynamayacaklar. Bizim için oynamaları çok düşük bir ihtimal.

Bu sahiplik modelinde Southampton'a hiçbir fayda sağlanmıyor

We don't know, if we compete for European cups in the future, players who can play for the Premier League may also be produced. But not everything has to be in Southampton's best interest. In the future, the profit earned can be shared between the clubs, as a result, the money belongs to Sport Rebuplic and can be circulated between the clubs. If we pay rental fees for some players in the future, it will be balanced, who knows, maybe we are paying, the details of the transfers are not disclosed. Sport Rebuplic doesn't inject much money into us, it pays off to you.

There are benefits for both clubs  as some of these players are clearly not quite ready for the Premier League but may well show up in the future

in the Turkish League.   Goalkeeper Lis is a good example of the Sport Republic methods.  In future he may well be an excellent player for Göztepe

even though he is officially " a Southampton player, " and Göztepe won't have to pay a huge fee to sign him as he is on loan from the same employer.

There may be other Saints players who need regular game time, and are not yet first choice, but Göztepe will get the benefit of the loan of such players.

Whether they  stay with one club, or the other, the long term benefit will be avoiding huge fees that many clubs demand for their best players.

I saw Lis play for Saints in a pre-season game. He was terrible. That explains why Göztepe are signing Rui Patricio. If he's still fit, he should be a massive improvement.

Saw Juan came off the bench and notched an assist for his debut. Matsuki didn't make the bench. Not sure if injured, or just not selected? If not selected, hopefully that changes as he gets up to speed, otherwise no point him being there (unless they're covering full salary and have paid us a fee)?!

Matuski was pictured back in training on Monday,

In other news Goztepe are appealing the punishment of having to play two league matches behind closed doors, due to the on pitch issues last weekend.

Matsuki made his debut last night against Alanyspor. From what I can make out, their fans were very impressed with him (and Juan for that matter).

Solid start to the season for Goztepe indeed.

Do we know who the Brazilian scout for Sport Republic is, @Nolan?

No. But I'm thinking people shouldn't be worried about Welington...

(Sam Stanton is the head of Scouting Operations for the three clubs...)
