Loans expire at the end of the season. Players automatically return to their parent clubs. There is no need to force anything.

Well yes. He's our player, and it would take a bid of a lot more than Wednesday could afford to convince us to sell him this summer.

He's got no choice if he likes it.

Although, there are times where the loan move ends, the player departs and they still become a bit of a legend to get attached to.

Leaving aside the contractual stuff, just curious how much SC actually liked the chronic uncertainty of even getting paid.
