Russell has to chuck away his pre match talk about playing into form for the playoffs, he needs to psych the boys up to win at all costs today. Even if it's the ugliest football that would make Big Sam blush, all that matters is 3 points. Get the crowd up for it, get Adam Armstrong falling over in the box at every opportunity. Do whatever it takes and see where this gets us.

Reckon the playoffs discussion will be managing expectations to us and media but inside they will be giving it "300, they've written us off" etc etc and be super going for the autos.

Well that's what i hope.

His talk should always be focused on winning the match in front of them. That's the only one they're playing today.

If they aren’t buoyed up by the Leicester and Leeds results then please don’t ever repeat this line about them being brave whether on the ball or not. They have their incentive, now deliver ffs !!

For me brooks doesn’t start which allows AA to play from our right. He can then fall overs much as he likes in the area.

Wow! Amazing start. 

I loved the little exchange of passes between Smallbone and Brooks on the right in the build up to that. Beautiful, crisp passing. And for Smallbone to then get in the box and get on the end of the cross was outstanding.
