These cunts aren’t making it any fun. They normally get a bit closer before choking.

I was half hoping they'd get trounced by Sunderland in the semis.

The own goal equaliser was decent.

It's the hope that kills you.

They are going to make it. Stupid Charlton.

Yep Charlton were in pole position two games ago. Now Pompey have it in their own hands

Their own hands to crash the playoffs. Keep the faith. Even if they did somehow go up next season will be disastrous unless they buy 15 new players good enough for the Championship

Always said Adkins was overrated.

I still have faith that Oxford will beat Burton and the skates will bottle it to the mighty Accrington.
although the prospect of them losing in the play offs oncemore does have a certain enjoyment in it.

Pompey v Accrington on Sky Sports on Sunday if anybody wants to watch them bottle the playoffs.

If they lose and Oxford get at least a point against Burton, or if Oxford win and Portsmouth only draw, they will miss out on playoffs altogether.

Big game tonight for Charlton.
will they bottle it like we did against West Ham and Reading when it really matters under Adkins.

Eh? Your anti Adkins agenda is going a bit haywire. We did lose at home to Reading but we took 4 points off West Ham in our promotion season.

Don't let facts get in the way of your prejudices.

And yet we came second to West Ham.
never winning a title at league one or championship level was underachieving with the squad we had.
Utter failure. Disgraceful underachievement.

No we didn't. A newly promoted from L1 Saints finished 2nd and West Han were 3rd and went into the playoffs, despite the Hammers having a vastly more expensively assembled squad than us.

If only we’d finished above West Ham.

The best thing we did was going straight through the Championship and not getting stuck there for years on end.

We went up.

It was bloody brilliant.

The End.

I check the score at nil-nil, 20 minutes later, check back and its 3-0 to Charlton.

This is Pompey's year. I can feel it.

In fact, I have a sneaky feeling they will get back-to-back promotions through the play-offs.

I'll have what he's had, but only half as much

Still in their hands, and plenty of time left. Oxford can win 10 nil and it might not matter.

Five minutes to save their season and score a couple of goals.

if they don’t make it,  next season will be a tough with Sheffield Wednesday joining Ipswich, Charlton and a few other decent teams.
