warsash saint Posted 9 March, 2021 Posted 9 March, 2021 Anyone got a link to watch the fun and games ?

Danbert Posted 9 March, 2021 Posted 9 March, 2021 I don't think I can take watching any more of that. I swear the quality of football in League 1 has fallen off a cliff since we were in it.
The Cat Posted 9 March, 2021 Posted 9 March, 2021 I think my favourite part of the first half, other than the Sunderland goal, was when the co-commentator said that these are both massive clubs who should be in the Premier League.

Definitely no racism ties in his twitter handle Adidas? Unless there's something I've missed that means we're not allowed to wear that brand any more?

There's a few decent players and passages of play but like you I'm not watching the rest.

As soon as they expand it to 100 clubs they will be. Just.

No idea what the 3 is for, but presumably he miss counted and thought it was a 'd' for 'das'.

Where do they get this nonsense from? Pompey have been in the bottom 2 divisions more than they’ve been in the top flight in the last 50 years, pure myth. 1
CB Fry Posted 9 March, 2021 Posted 9 March, 2021 It's a shame there's no fans there because right now they definitely would not be booing.
Hatch Posted 9 March, 2021 Posted 9 March, 2021 That knock kneed centre back with the head band is really hopeless.
Saint_clark Posted 9 March, 2021 Posted 9 March, 2021 (edited) Good to see that with all the games in hand below them they could drop as far as 10th. Edited 9 March, 2021 by Saint_clark
rallyboy Posted 9 March, 2021 Posted 9 March, 2021 In all fairness they are now losing to teams that I've heard of, which is clearly a positive thing. 2 5

Turkish Posted 12 March, 2021 Posted 12 March, 2021 (edited) I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Pompey that for only the third time in 50 years they have not had a lower average attendance than us. Edited 13 March, 2021 by Turkish 3

jawillwill Posted 13 March, 2021 Author Posted 13 March, 2021 Big cup final for them today against lower league opposition. Would be a real knock to their confidence if they lost.

igsey Posted 13 March, 2021 Posted 13 March, 2021 If they win would that be enough for Jackett to get a contract extension?
jawillwill Posted 13 March, 2021 Author Posted 13 March, 2021 0-0 at half time, but Salford have been by miles the better team and should be at least 3 or 4 goals up. Pompey are making them look Premoer League.
Saint86 Posted 13 March, 2021 Posted 13 March, 2021 Forgot this was on, and turned it on just in time to catch the penalties. They won the toss to go first (statistically means they are favourites) then promptly missed the first 2 (the first was one of the worst penalties you will ever see). Salford banged in 4 out of 4. Job done. What a delightful little gift for a Saturday. Apparently they've been outplayed by a lower division team all game as well. I do love them being so horrendously shite 🤣
Lord Duckhunter Posted 13 March, 2021 Posted 13 March, 2021 To be fair, their penalties that went in were excellent. It’s just the first one was shite and the second a decent save.
aintforever Posted 13 March, 2021 Posted 13 March, 2021 That has to be more embarrassing than losing to a div 4 team in the first round.
LGTL Posted 13 March, 2021 Posted 13 March, 2021 Perfect afternoon really. Outplayed by a team from division below, play 120 minutes when they’ve two games coming up this week, and lose heroically on penalties. They’re the embarrassment of the South. 2
Danbert Posted 13 March, 2021 Posted 13 March, 2021 They were top of the league in December, their season has completely fallen apart 1
Dorchester Saint Posted 13 March, 2021 Posted 13 March, 2021 This is too funny, they’ve gone from promotion certs to absolute disaster, hilarious!! 🤣🤣🤣

whelk Posted 14 March, 2021 Posted 14 March, 2021 I saw on Twitter that many were abusing Eisner. That’ll get it done. Keep it up. many affronted he didn’t tweet and acknowledge the big final. I expect he has had enough
Matthew Le God Posted 14 March, 2021 Posted 14 March, 2021 What a shame. He was doing such a great job for us...!
whelk Posted 14 March, 2021 Posted 14 March, 2021 Wonder what big name managers they will be linked with
mack rill Posted 14 March, 2021 Posted 14 March, 2021 Not such a bad day after all, Jacket out two years to late, and a good game at your gaff, odds on the next Donkey to step up to the breach,

I wonder what will happen in the next instalment of the Solent circus?
The Cat Posted 14 March, 2021 Posted 14 March, 2021 (edited) The lure of managing a team in front of the best fans in the world next season will surely be enough to lure Eddie Howe back to his spiritual home. Edited 14 March, 2021 by The Cat
