Plymouth are making them look like Real Madrid at the moment.

Better toward half-time but Plymouth poor compared to their usual home form.

Mind you, the lone striker the skates have is genuinely making Ali Dia look like Mbappe out there. Their players have given him some verbal clog when he’s not made runs or looked out of it.

And to think there were those who doubted me when I said several seasons ago that the tax cheats getting promoted to the championship would elevate the chortle factor on this thread several fold... 😁

It all seems a long time now since the start of the season, when it took Leeds and Middlesborough last gasp equalisers to salvage home draws. Of course all the talk then was that they were going to be this seasons Ipswich…….😂

They will be OK and the odds on their relegation are lower than ours

However Saturdays game v a poor Preston team may provide a clue

They are really, really struggling for goals. Didn’t realise what happened with Colby Bishop - rivalry aside I hope he recovers OK with a young family. Yengi their striker last night looked terrible - turn of pace but no real football awareness for the top two divisions. If they’d had a centre forward or two last night they’d have been out of sight well before Obafemi punished them.

Terrible results for them tonight with Luton winning and Preston nicking a draw. Cardiff in not too bad form despite their loss. Great stuff.

And what all those sides have in common is that they aren’t the best defensively, but they can often get a goal. Which is where Portsmouth without Colby Bishop until at least January and beyond for him to get match fit, are a bit stuffed.

2025 is not starting to go well for either of our clubs. A 1-0 loss today leaves us still on the edge, let's hope we can keep our home form going.

your season has been a bloody disaster with stupid mistakes passing around at the back to start with now you are well out of your depth 10 points adrift and only 6 on the board don't envy you as Saints supporters having an autopsy after every game. still Happy New Year to you all and if we can hang in there next season should be good.

What?! I was always told that Portsmouth fans are the most loyal around and never in any circumstances leave a game early...

657 sound they’ve got a bit too old for their antics, used to love a tear up with the Wall. I suppose we should be flattered they’ll get the mobility scooters out to give us a welcome next year. This result doesn’t help them much in that regard.
