Saint NL Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 Real lack of desire on that break there, no one wanted it

Aribo has tried but the rest seem bereft of ideas. 11 minutes ago, Saint Fan CaM said: This is utterly boring stagnant football from Saints. Probably know we're not getting top two and not falling out of the playoffs so why risk injury. Just treat the games as high intensity training sessions. 2
SambaMaverick Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 As I said, it's a front three of pussies. Will never work in this league.
Totton Saint Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 I am glad Idid not pay £10 to our website to watch the game if comments on here are anything to go by
whelk Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 The Blackburn commentator knows fuck all. Wittering on. Like hearing my nan comment on the game
Chez Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 AA can't hold the ball up. Lucky deflection, but Fraser can't control the ball or he would have been in. Both have to do better.

Bad Wolf Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 Still not really seeing what all the fuss about Brooks was about.

Saint Fan CaM Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 Fuck me, thank goodness we’re dragging Blackburn down to our level!

Good job THB cuts the cross out. 1 minute ago, madge said: Some good opportunities to break quickly and yet we knock it back and sideways.. this isn’t thoroughbred football.. it’s nodding donkeys in a farmyard. Players are being stagnated by this no risk football.. Our play in a nutshell. Martin is willing to offer up the spaces down the flanks. He offsets that by having numbers in the midfield who should dominate and create passes through for the attackers. Except those extra numbers result in disjointed, mostly plodding, posession that doesn't create enough, with the knowledge we're concede somewhere along the way, if not from the gaps.
Chez Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 Blackburn pressing hard and we crumble. A change of plan (not overpassing in our own box) might be needed (temporary) or we might get caught here.
Sheaf Saint Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 Very unimpressed with Brooks just now. He lazily assumed the ball would come to him so started running forward and waited for it to come, but the Blackburn player just nipped in and took it. He then jogs back as they are attacking from that and lets his man run completely free into the box. I know we didn't sign him for his defensive capabilities, but that was very poor. 2
Saint NL Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 Is brooks injured? He keeps giving it away and spends most of the time bent over adjusting his socks

Bad Wolf Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 You have to feel for Blackburn fans having to listen to these two tards on commentary every week. 1
Chez Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 2 minutes ago, Bad Wolf said: Still not really seeing what all the fuss about Brooks was about. you missed the great run earlier when he beat the full back, got to the byeline and caused them huge problems? Thats what he can do. 2
Jack Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 This is so so dull. No intensity, no pace, no desire. Movement off the ball is poor, no runners, nothing. Fuck off Russell 1
Mr X Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 Death by a thousand passes! Bloody entertaining football this!
BotleySaint Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 Must be a complete lack of movement up front. No forward passes to make.
John B Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 GOAL: Cardiff 0-1 Hull City Fabio Carvalho (32 mins) shame we did not persuade him to come to St Mary's as he seems to have scored a few goals at Hull

Sheaf Saint Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 Feel sorry for the fans who have travelled up for this. Awful performance so far.

Chez Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 Stephens having his shirt pulled off with half a chance there.
AlexLaw76 Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 The Saints front 3 have been terrible. Nothing is really sticking, and pretty poor on the ball when it is shifted their way

Saint NL Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 Enjoyed that little phase where the Comms were praising Rothwell and how he can run with the ball. Suddenly the ball does fall for Rothwell and you could feel the excitement from the commentators and Rothwell fumbles and gives the ball away 😂
Jack Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 2 minutes ago, Chez said: what position is Russell playing? Are you saying he’s got nothing to do with how we play?
Chez Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 Just now, Bad Wolf said: I did miss that evidently. that's all he has done mind. Got to say that Fraser has done far less, but he's a fans favourite, so doesn't get called out.

Sheaf Saint Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 That wasn't even a foul. He just stumbled under no contact.
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 6 April, 2024 Posted 6 April, 2024 Rothwell made a run. Did we think he was offside there. Seemed odd to not make the pass.
