May have been covered in another topic, but what's with dropping KWP?

Arguably our best player this year and extremely lucky to keep hold of him, yet... one average game and he's dropped!! WTF!!!!???!!!!

Talk about lack of man management!

It was DEFINITELY a fitness issue and anyone who disagrees with me doesn’t know anything about football

RM's quotes didn't sound so convincing

Tbh yesterday showed that we need our best player to be a player to be a striker or a goalkeeper, not a RB.

If we has competent ownership, losing KWP shouldn’t be such a terrifying prospect because we could feel safe in the knowledge they would provide a solid replacement at RB and reinvest the extra money where it’s needed in a new GK or ST.

What we all know will happen though is that KWP will leave for a decent fee, and we’ll spunk all of it on some 17 year old from Man City’s academy who’s miles off being ready for first team football sending us even further in the abyss.

It’s what we were all told in the pre-match thread. Anyone questioning the decision was met with derision and told it was FITNESS BASED. Of course, it turned out to be absolute bollocks and was just Martin trying to be too clever, as we all realised at the time.

Certainly seems a bizarre decision, now that Russ has come out and said that. KWP hasn’t been at his best since his injury but you still start our best player in a game like Ipswich. Having said that, it wasn’t the reason we lost yesterday and the players he did put out generally acquitted themselves well, for 65 minutes at least.

Maybe, maybe not - I personally thought Bree was pretty shit, at fault for the 1st goal (or contributed to it). Didn't get out to their LB quick enough, we were done down that side quite a lot when they had their moments.

The sending off was daft as well, you could argue he had cover so it shouldn't have been a red...but he was absolutely done all ends up and just brought the player down, piss poor play to get caught out like he did.
