It is but with Osvaldo you can’t help but wonder how many of his problems could have been averted but not acting like a monumental w*nker his whole life. It is sad, but it's very easy to not care about money and just lock yourself away when you have enough of it to never have to worry about rent or bills being unpaid.

Shame, as the man has a huge amount of ability and drive. Could have been a top, top player. The black dog has no respect for money or fame. Hope he finds his tribe and a way through.

Make no mistake depression can affect anyone and having money and/or prestige is no barometer as to whether you’ll suffer. No matter what his past ‘failings’ may be I hope he comes out the other side and can lead a fruitful and productive life.

It's a bit of a chicken/egg situation though. His behaviour may have been a symptom of his mental health condition, whatever it is
