Tamesaint Posted 29 February, 2024 Posted 29 February, 2024 With Leicester’s involvement in the FA Cup and the international matches we will have a 3 week break between 9th and 29th March. Some players will be on international duty but what a great time to prepare ourselves for the run in. A bit of coaching here, a bit of tweaking the system there. Moreover Fraser should be fit again, niggling injuries sorted out and the team refreshed. Lovely jubbly.
East Kent Saint Posted 29 February, 2024 Posted 29 February, 2024 Hopefully a lot of work will be done on what to do in the final third and not too much of tippy tappy in their own penalty area !
Kenilworthy Posted 29 February, 2024 Posted 29 February, 2024 When is the Leicester game likely to move to - is it possible they could move it forward in the week it is currently scheduled for from the Friday to Tuesday or Wednesday?

I'm not sure but I can't ever remember a game being rescheduled for a date before the original game was due to take place.... I think the earliest possible reschedule date is Tues 23rd April (11 days before the end of the season....) Edited 29 February, 2024 by trousers

Could be urban myth territory but don't we usually have a poor track record in games follwoing an international break....? (It doesn't follow that history is certain to repeat itself, of course....) No, that’s ‘brave’. Russ loves that. Unfortunately, so does the opposition. 2

Hopefully not too many international call ups but we do often lose quite a few of the squad, Brooks will be involved for Wales as well now. Leicester could be rearranged for same week potentially, think Liverpool did that for their league Cup final fixture playing Luton Wednesday before, is possible, but more likely in April I reckon.

Do TV get a say in rearranging of the fixture ?

Whitey Grandad Posted 29 February, 2024 Posted 29 February, 2024 More importantly, what are we all going to do with the three weeks? 2

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 29 February, 2024 Posted 29 February, 2024 Martin: Good news! We've got in a specialist to show us how to maximise the advantage you get with a big break between games. Consultant: Hello, my name's Nathan. This PowerPoint presentation will show you why I'm pound for pound the best in Europe at maximising things! Especially changing things up given plenty of time before the next game. After another session about me in the afternoon, filmed for you tube, we can have 5 minutes to focus on you. 3

Master Bates Posted 29 February, 2024 Posted 29 February, 2024 Can we have a longer break like the Covid times, I miss thoses days. Something special about them.

bangkoksaint Posted 1 March, 2024 Posted 1 March, 2024 I remember when we had a new manager and a mid season break due to a WC to prepare the team……that went well 😂😂 2
