We ain't catching Leeds and Leicester (and maybe even Ipswich). These players and manager don't have the brass balls for the playoffs. We'll almost certainly be in this league again next season.

Oh well, was fun while it lasted.

Been out - OMG, reading through this thread is utter gold. What a bunch of entitled pricks Saints fans seem to be. Sacking a Manager because we're 4th, behave.

You talk as though everyone is calling for the manager's head when, in fact, it's a very small percentage.

TBF I’ve enjoyed this season, come what may, more than I did the last few in the PL. People shouldn’t kid themselves that if we went up we’d be another Shef Utd or Burnley and likewise we’ll lose players whether we go up or not. We compete in this league and it’s survival in the PL - I know what gives me more of a buzz (mostly) on a Saturday afternoon.

Over 95% of this forum voted to sack him earlier in the season...

Very disappointing last few games (WBA apart).  Seem to have lost our mojo and really disappointed Meghoma, SAA and Dibling are seemingly not going to get a look in.

We look devoid of ideas and completely toothless up front.

Hammond saying that on the occassion that the momentum is with the team, having been out there, that you have to go for the kill. That you don;t need to hold onto the ball quite as much. This really isn;t the way Martin has ever set out to play. Going for the kill, opens you up to losing it and conceding. It's Plan A, all the way. Which has had it's strengths, and as we've seen those lows, where we allow teams back in, or pass it around and struggle to get that momentum back.

Yep.

Have the wheels come of for us, or have we been found out?

Either way: we're not making it hard for the opposition lately.
