Disco Stu Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 Not even Che thought he was going to score with that shot.
Winnersaint Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 This peters out 0-2 or 0-3. Can’t be arsed with the saints player anymore this evening. Going to watch that drama about COVID.

ON: Adams, Brooks, Aribo OFF: Mara, A Armstrong, Rothwell Sorry but that should have been at the start! Martin has been a tad arrogant lately and picks his ‘babes’ in favour of better players for no reason…
Crouchie's Lawyer Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 Dean Hammond, great servant to us but fuck me, if he says Sowfammton one more time, Imma stick a brick through my TV 2
Saint NL Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 No idea why we appeal for handballs, ref isn't giving us one 😂

Saint NL Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 We can't buy a goal, Che blocked Aribo and it ends up over
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 We were getting in each others' way to get a shot away. A much quicker attack. Adams, Fraser, Aribo and Brooks. The first two starting the move and who should have been starting.
obelisk Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 Hull's finishing is dreadful. Could easily be 0-5.
Sheaf Saint Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 Adams miscontrols the ball then falls on his arse and blocks Aribo from being able to shoot. Brilliant Che. Just brilliant.
Convict Colony Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 (edited) Armstrong to come off for sully please Need some chaos Edited 20 February, 2024 by Convict Colony

Mr X Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 Far Too little too late to rescue anything tonight! You're welcome 🙏🤞
Chez Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 another good chance for Hull. They should be three or four up
Lee On Solent Saint Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 Ridiculus how we can go away from home and totally boss WBA, but turn up at home and make Hull look like fuckin Real Madrid. 3
Saint NL Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 It's like watching someone playing FIFA after you've changed the control scheme. Pressing X for a short pass and instead getting a backheel.

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 Oooh Aribo wins the ball back. So few of our players can go in and win tackles.

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 Sule guided away from the ball he wanted to run onto. Ref not interested. But hopefully a sign he can get past a Hull marker.

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 Sule nearly well. Getting past his man.

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 Aribo wins it back again. More than both Smallbone and Rothwell combined in the game. When Hull were pushing forward in numbers, Sule would have been an option to stop them doing that. More centrally, and very capable of getting past a high line.

Saint NL Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 This should be 5 or 6 now, but this lot couldn't finish a bag of mini cheddars 1
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 Ah. Smallbone. Good position, nice touch and pass that doens;t reach it's man. Sums up his night (being a bit generous now I'm remembering the lack of control in midfield)
Morse Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 First half v Huddersfield, Bristol City and now this. We've been found out. Press us hard and we break.
badgerx16 Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 Smallbone has the touch of an amputee and the vision of Helen Keller. 1
Patches O Houlihan Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 Can't help thinking things would have been different if we'd started with Aribo instead of Rothwell...

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 Arobo bouncing aorund their box lookign for the ball. Aribo the one chasing down their keeper. What a difference.
Sheaf Saint Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 We're finally starting to show a bit of control and composure, but it's far too little too late. This is 100% on Russ for that horrific starting lineup. 1
hypochondriac Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 Aribo should start every game if available. Same with Brooks and we have to play one of Charles or Downes every game.

I never quite got why ROthwell went into the eleven so quickly. From all the huffing and puffing he was doing just to keep up with our fitness, to the systems he would supposedly have to learn that Martin got all the others doing. Martin rally eased Fraser and later Aribo into the team. All very gradual. Rothwell, while showing good attacking skill, seemed to be an instant favourite. 2
Mr X Posted 20 February, 2024 Posted 20 February, 2024 Hull have been too good for us tonight both attacking wise and defensively fair play to them
