I don't think so. With Pearson we had a manager who could get the best out of players so there's no reason why we couldn't have been one of the surprise teams that always gets into the play-offs.

I do rate Pearson very highly and I believe he'd get alot more out of these players than Poortvliet or Wotte ever could. However, I still think playoffs is a bit ambitious. Unfortunately, we'll never be able to find out who's right, so I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
