We are making a complete and utter mess of this, making them look good when they are nothing more than average.  Subs need to change the game now

Not at all. Saw some stats published at weekend had him in a list within top players in Europe for ball retention.

It is all relative to the league he is playing in. You must know this.

it is like saying Adam Armstrong is one of the best forwards in the country

Manning at RB and KWP at left back now?

Is that a temporary switch after corners to help restrict counter attacks?

I think we've realised all their threat is coming down their right and Manning is not a very good defender. KWP on a yellow now though so might switch back.

The more this game moves on, the less we look like scoring, more so Bristol City getting a second.

Feels like the week our play off spot will be sealed, having to go away to West Brom. 5 a drift by the weekend? That would be quite the demoralising turnaround.

I hope I’m wrong.

It was clear from the start that the midfield was weak, the drop off in quality from Downes to Charles is massive.

We can't create chances if we can't get the ball....

We’ve believed our own hype today I think. Back to walking football and fannying around with it with no intent.

City have got in our faces and we’ve not been good enough or worked hard enough to play round it or through it

We’re making them look like bloody Brazil!!

This has been coming.

First halves against Watford and Huddersfield…. Martin took the blame for himself, doubt he will keep doing that

City have our number. They're not even that good but they're well organised and we can't seem to up a gear. Maybe the pace of Sulemana is needed...

Fans trying to get us going, but we look done in this one. Not tested them at all this half, they look much more likely to add to their score.

This performance confirms what I've been thinking for a while - that we have flattered to deceive for a few games now and haven't looked anywhere ruthless enough. The quality of our players has allowed us to win but we haven't been blowing teams away much - particularly away from home.
