obelisk Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 Trouble is I wouldn't even be confident of making the play-off final.
Chez Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 Jesus. Someone give Manning some help. Where the fuck was Brooks?
Micky Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 We are making a complete and utter mess of this, making them look good when they are nothing more than average. Subs need to change the game now 1
Lee On Solent Saint Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 AA just cannot play through the middle

Saw some stats published at weekend had him in a list within top players in Europe for ball retention. It is all relative to the league he is playing in. You must know this. it is like saying Adam Armstrong is one of the best forwards in the country

Is that a temporary switch after corners to help restrict counter attacks? I think we've realised all their threat is coming down their right and Manning is not a very good defender. KWP on a yellow now though so might switch back. 1
GDog07 Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 The more this game moves on, the less we look like scoring, more so Bristol City getting a second. Feels like the week our play off spot will be sealed, having to go away to West Brom. 5 a drift by the weekend? That would be quite the demoralising turnaround. I hope I’m wrong.
Saint NL Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 It was clear from the start that the midfield was weak, the drop off in quality from Downes to Charles is massive. We can't create chances if we can't get the ball....
Jack Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 We’ve believed our own hype today I think. Back to walking football and fannying around with it with no intent. City have got in our faces and we’ve not been good enough or worked hard enough to play round it or through it 3
benali-shorts Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 Martin not great vs top quarter teams worryingly
madge Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 We seriously seem to be lacking any sort of pace tonight. Adam Armstrong has had a poor game. He’s no central striker.
Saint_clark Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 Fucking awful cross from Armstrong. He's dipped massively recently. 1
bangkoksaint Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 We’re making them look like bloody Brazil!! 1
obelisk Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 Bristol attack with pace. Saints still walking it up to the half way line. 3
SambaMaverick Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 Team full of Ryan Manning's if we don't go up. The fucking horror 2 1
Sir Ralph Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 (edited) Manning is woeful again. Some really braindead decisions tonight Edited 13 February, 2024 by Sir Ralph 1
Convict Colony Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 It's a about time manning did something this season, he's been shit even as a free transfer.

Harry_SFC Posted 13 February, 2024 Author Posted 13 February, 2024 Manning is having an utterly terrible half here 2
SNSUN Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 City have our number. They're not even that good but they're well organised and we can't seem to up a gear. Maybe the pace of Sulemana is needed...
Micky Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 Fans trying to get us going, but we look done in this one. Not tested them at all this half, they look much more likely to add to their score.
hypochondriac Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 This performance confirms what I've been thinking for a while - that we have flattered to deceive for a few games now and haven't looked anywhere ruthless enough. The quality of our players has allowed us to win but we haven't been blowing teams away much - particularly away from home.
Elmore Saint Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 Is the pitch one of those hybrid surfaces to take account of the rugby? Seems like everyones passing and touch is just off it tonight.
Saint Matty 76 Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 I’d fancy myself to get past Will Smallbone
Saint_Ash Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 Saints fans in good voice trying to gee them on. sule coming on.
obelisk Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 Bristol just strolled through our midfield there. Too easy for them.
Saint_clark Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 How many goals have we scored from crosses this season? Doesn't feel like many.
Mr X Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 Oh well are run had to come to an end somewhen
SNSUN Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 No comeback here. Just not looked on it. Well played City but we have been shite with it.
SambaMaverick Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 We look absolutely fucking knackered and it's only going to get worse
Turkish Posted 13 February, 2024 Posted 13 February, 2024 So shit. So easy for them. We’ve been miles off it right from kick off
