This is an incredibly lazy, self-serving attempt to encourage kind people who know how to post video excerpts here to share their favorite goals. In a down moment, I'd love to see five or six in a single place.  Here's one contender:

It's not a typical "goal of the season" candidate but Tella's/AA's against Sheff Wed was the one I cheered most just because it was the first goal after such a turbulent summer and so much insecurities. When that went in, it was like they all just evaporated. Even more than the second one oddly enough.

Alcaraz v Plymouth for me. 

An absolute howitzer to turn the game in our favour after a massive scare that should have resulted in us being 0-1 down. A wonderful way to see out a horrifying, then hopeful year.

Mara’s second v Watford, Russball at its finest followed by a great run by good home grown academy prospect followed by a rocket shot out of nowhere. Watch the power from such little back lift.

Arma's goal at Rotherham was a peach, from inch-perfect ball forward from THB to the backheel from Wee Man to tee him up. 

Just a shame the keeper got a touch, which stopped it from being a 'clean' finish. But that doesn't detract from the overall quality of the move.

Che v Swansea in the 5-0 win. Power and precision.

It wasn't a goal but was so close, I said it at the time if it had gone in it would have been my GOTS - AA's shot from near the half way line against Plymouth in December that if it had dropped a foot lower it would have gone in. 

Tough to choose, so many goals! Actually then, the same Plymouth game - that Alcaraz goal put us on the road to the win and was a great finish - so that. Same as Colinjb above.

My favourite is Mara's goal v Sheff Weds (4-0) with Fraser's reverse pass - a move of real beauty

Stuart Armstong's goal against Watford in the first cup match. That glance across the goal bamboozled their whole team and they were all rooted like statues as it went in. The reaction from them said it all.

Maybe not the best goal,but the goal THB scored at Loftus Road was a pretty classy finish for a centre back.

Absolutely - it would take some goal to better that. His technique to keep the ball down and the way he cut across it to send it swerving and arrowing into the top corner was sensational.

Rothwell saw Mara's 2nd strike against Watford looking like it'd probably win GOTS and thought "Hold my beer." That was some volley!

Has to be Rothwell. One of the best strikes of a ball I have seen. Reminded me of a Le Tissier type strike.

The Rothwell one was superb but that Arma goal posted in the OP does epitomise what our style of play is about this season.

Yep and probably perfection from wherever you were in the ground. Standing right behind the goal, you could see it was in from the moment it left his foot. A goal for the history books.

Yes, a great goal, but Rothwell's technique hitting that on the volley into the top corner was a level above.
