Will be sad to see him go, hope they invite him back to play for Saints Legends v Russell Martin XI next month.

End of an era.

You can see his glans.

I have said all summer that if they come up with £8m, he's theirs, but having signed Simon Banza, I thought Trabzonspor had moved on.

Sigh.

Yeah agreed - think it was fairly obvious to anyone who'd actually watched him that he had what was needed. A great buy for Ipswich.

Really no point in looking at Delap and thinking what might have been had we signed him.

Ipswich have an attacking intent, and a manager who seems to motivate players to fulfil potential, possibly playing above themselves.

Had Delap joined us he’d have looked like a labouring carthorse up front with our Legoball style, and we’d be bemoaning another £20m on a City kid going down the pan.

Ipswich only had 24% of the possession last night!! Delap may well have been what we needed but Ipswich were lucky last night with VAR apparently something that we havent had

Cafeful, you'll set the usual suspects off again - there is absolutely no way his ability at this level could have been predicted before hand 😂😂
