Signing older, over the hill players - a few years ago they would have been great but the likes of Ings, Ox, Reed, Lallana are all well past their 'best before' date. These are the stats taken from the PL web site. That is 39 games in the past 4 seasons and 4 goals in that time. Superb player but, unfortunately, has been plagued with injuries.

Expand Yep, Downes and Reed as a combo works for me. Play both when we need to play a more defensive line up but play Downes with Reed as stand-by when we want to play more offensive
