Brooks could make all the difference if the manager would only pick him

It's a little sad that one of the players who did so well tonight, will have to make way. But Brooks just has that extra level of quality that could be key against Liverpool.

So I'm confused now.

Does the fact that we're still in the cup and therefore apparently he's still cup-tied mean that he can't play in the crucial game against Huddersfield on Saturday?  If so would it have been better to have lost last night so that he can play now?  Can't help but feel this muddled thinking from the club might come back to bite...

Well we got away without him tonight, for whatever reason. To not play him against Liverpool would be folly.

Yes, we got really lucky that Yoann Folly has joined us out of retirement. It's a midfield pairing to strike fear into Liverpool, and both must be on the team sheet.

Taking the positives should be a good chance to get Brooks some more minutes in the system

I’m looking forward to seeing him play. I was at the game yesterday but I must have missed him.

I'm flying in from Asia specifically for this game just to see David Brooks, he's my new fav. I'm so excited, can't wait. Whoo hoo!!

Easy mistake, he was the one glued to the edge of the pitch who had grown roots and looked like a ball boy.
