But Brooks just has that extra level of quality that could be key against Liverpool. 2
SaintNewForest Posted 6 February, 2024 Posted 6 February, 2024 Disappointing not to see him tonight - must've picked up an unfortunate injury, timing wise. Hope he's back Saturday.
Dry Toast Posted 6 February, 2024 Posted 6 February, 2024 Well we got away without him tonight, for whatever reason. To not play him against Liverpool would be folly. 1
malcolm waldron Posted 7 February, 2024 Posted 7 February, 2024 So I'm confused now. Does the fact that we're still in the cup and therefore apparently he's still cup-tied mean that he can't play in the crucial game against Huddersfield on Saturday? If so would it have been better to have lost last night so that he can play now? Can't help but feel this muddled thinking from the club might come back to bite...

It's a midfield pairing to strike fear into Liverpool, and both must be on the team sheet. 1
Turkish Posted 25 February, 2024 Author Posted 25 February, 2024 Taking the positives should be a good chance to get Brooks some more minutes in the system 3

I'm so excited, can't wait. Whoo hoo!! 1
Ted Bates Statue Posted 25 February, 2024 Posted 25 February, 2024 I think you lot will find that Brooks is cup tied. There was a whole thread a couple of weeks ago making jokes about it. 3
Dark Munster Posted 25 February, 2024 Posted 25 February, 2024 Sadly only 3 more days of the Brooks cup-tied jokes. 2

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 25 February, 2024 Posted 25 February, 2024 Shouldn't this thread be part of the Liverpool build up thread? 1

Easy mistake, he was the one glued to the edge of the pitch who had grown roots and looked like a ball boy. 1
