Another pretend football agent no doubt.

People don't still fall for these obvious fakes do they?

Did anything he say predate stories already in the media? If all he has done is say a player already linked to a club will join then tgat us not good evidence of him being ITK. If he has been the first anywhere to link a player to a club and the player then joins then that starts to build credibility.

I'm not sure how any agent can be semi-retired. You've either got clients or you haven't, surely? More to the point, I don't see why a 'semi-retired agent' would have the inside track on all the major transfers in British football or what he gains from posting everything he hears on twitter.

Seems like just another sad little man after some attention to me.

so, was this lad in the tweet ITK?

No

Everything he said that "came true" was already in the press beforehand. Or nothing that couldn't be done through educated guesses based on already available information.

Just lucky mate. Even a broken clock is right about transfers quite often.

It's no wonder ITKs steer clear of this forum nowadays. The hysterical "he knows nothing" "attention seeker" posts are delivered thick n fast. Suggestions to remain open minded and /or apologise moved or deleted.

Welcome aboard Che and with Ralph's coaching I'm already looking forward to a much more exciting forward line this season. I think we'll be seeing far more pace, power and goals (not that it would be too difficult to improve on the last few years).

He has got a lot of things right prior to it being on sky or other sites. He is not a Saints specialist ITK, mentions a lot of clubs from across the leagues. If folk don’t believe him, it’s up to them, don’t see the need to slate him though. Just look away and dont read his tweets. It really is that simple.

He is just an absolute, clear fake. If you want to waste your time reading what he says then thats up to you but people posting it on here should get a ban.

After watching that video I am revising my opinion, some very good finishes there after all and he certainly does have a very good ability to hit the corners of the goal.

Reminds me of Andre Gray a fair bit. Similar build, height and record in championship.

Andre has a 1 in 4 score record since making the step up

Tosh! Ricky made the step-up easily and bingo into the England team. This lad can do the same. What will you say if he nets 20 this season?

Just a tad dramatic.

You realise a 1 in 4 record would mean c10-12 goals and a fairly decent return.

I'm not suggesting he won't step up. Just saying he reminds me of Gray and wouldn't be surprised with a similar return.

1 in 4 is similar to Redmond record last season and that was his best season with us.

If he scores 12 goals next season that would be decent no?

The last time most of us were this happy with a new signing was when we got Ralph as manager. So, that bodes well.

Adams is the sort of signing that definitely has the feelgood factor. Let's face it, when we signed players like Carrillo, most of us, with the exception of a few hardcore happy clappers, were disappointed and said so at the time.

It's 'Dwindling' because of obvious trolls like you and Glasgow. You have to wade through your sh1te on every thread, to get to the interesting stuff. You are one weird f%&*er, to get satisfaction out of trolling a footie forum.

Agree with this. Don't read saints web nearly as much as I used to mostly because of heisenberg and cabbage

Totally 100% right. I’ve blocked the cabbage but am still sick of seeing that he’s contributed to every bloody thread I read.

We can all list 25/30 names of incoming or outgoing players and see a few cone true, it’s not an exact science or ITK.

So we're getting Che for 15m, 3m of that goes to Sheffield united because of a sell on clause and then Sheffield united use that 3m + 5m buy Charlie Austin for 8m! So basically we've got Che for 7m + Austin now that is a good bit of business if it happens!

Four year contract apparently, same as Djenepo.

Wonder if we have been burned with too many failures on the 5 year deals so have intentionally shortened them by a year? Makes sense if they do well to look to extend within a year.

On the other hand maybe its at the request of the player, for whom it gives more options once a couple of years have passed.

There's a line between giving an opinion and being opinionated. The latter doesn't make for entertaining reading.

In a couple of years how much would a promotion-chasing Championship team be willing to spend on a young player who is a proven goalscorer at that level, even if they didn't make the step up in the Premier League?

I'd say still a decent chunk - maybe £10m? - so for that reason alone I think it's worth the risk and good business. It's great having a definite style of play which requires a specific sort of player, means we can be a bit more focused in the market and there is more of a sense of strategy again.

I think this is a good deal if we're honest.

As you've said above mrfahaji - it's already happened down there. You had Rhodes being bought for what was 10-15m, Britt Assombolonga (i think that's how you spell it) - who cost Boro something like 15m. Villa spent something like 10m on that preverbal championship scorer McCormack.

So, given that he was a top scorer in the NPC and we've supposedly got the PL riches, we've got ourselves a deal which can't be sniffed out.

Welcome Che. Decent business so far this window, yet still not good enough for some people. Time for a couple of defenders now

Welcome. Not the biggest but has a compact, stocky build and low centre of gravity, so should be able to hold up the ball, back into defenders and turn them. With his finishing skills, should be an immediate upgrade on Long who, at times last season, did an underappreciated job in leading the line.

Let's hope he makes the grade in the Prem. More to the point, let's hope he doesn't have the goal scoring coaches out of him. Welcome Che - big hope that you'll storm it like Rickie.

Welcome Che.

From the OS pics I can state with some confidence that he is taller than Wee Ross, but shorter than Ralph.
