It's a joke isn't it. Season ticket holder club shop discount been around for as long as I remember, one benefit of having the season ticket. I know someone who bought kits first week on sale and it was applied, I tried to get for my kids to be told its been withdrawn and will only apply on certain as yet unknown future dates. The club kept that quiet.

Helped by a more subtle sponsor logo as well. Away kit is pretty bland in my view.

I too would like to be outraged and express my disgust at not being offered a discount on something that I'm unlikely to buy in any event. Open letters are called for. Note1. - insert photo pf KIrk and Dad. Note 2 -on a serious note agree with you, principle of it is pretty poor (I think even Lowe might have offered some concessions to ST holders). The Curse of St Mary's
Just seen that Barnsley have the exact same GK kit as us. The Puma kit sponsorship has been so disappointing imo.
Pamplemousse
Man City have the same one as well. I think a lot of the kit companies do it for the GK shirts. The Adidas GK kits are all the same for clubs and countries, there are about 5 different colour versions.
Ted Bates Statue
Wednesday have put out a hissy fit press release, pleading with supporters to not buy fake kit from DHGate etc. https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2024/august/09/swfc-brand-protection-/ "Anyone found to be wearing a fake shirt inside Hillsborough could be asked to leave, with information passed on to the relevant parties" The phrase "Don't threaten me with a good time" springs to mind, although if they can hold onto Danny Rohl they could be a decent bet for the playoffs. Also reminds me of someone I went to school with, who in similar fashion to the Panini Cheapskates website, chose to amateurishly decorate a plain t-shirt in the colours of their favourite team, rather than buy the real thing. I always assumed clubs were happy to look the other way regarding kit piracy, partially due to the manufacturers going to the trouble of including shirt sponsors. Imagine if you could get a knock-off home shirt without any sponsorship - that would put the corporates on the warpath.

Hopefully the rise in counterfeits give way to cheaper official gear from clubs and international teams. They’ve been ripping people off for years overcharging for a kit that costs pennies to make. Instead of Wednesday and The FA threatening to take action they should take a good look at themselves in the mirror, especially with cost of living as high as it is. saint lard
TBH Wednesdays shirt is a thing of beauty. That in red and white would be a huge seller. simple stripes and the collar is lovely. perhaps it’s something to do with the fact it looks a little like our European shirt. numerous thinner stripes. 🤷🏻♂️
