Frustrating that they haven't got the stupid border around Rollbit on the third kit. Why couldn't they do this with the home and away?

Anyone else think they might have designed this shirt purely so the logo goes with it, with the yellow badges etc?

I just got the kit email promo and must admit that I really quite like pink kit, though my wife was like "owww, those lot on the forum you go on about aren't gonna be happy" and foolishly I stuck up for you all, saying that as deranged as a few of you are, it would likely take more than the colour pink to set you off. But I have of course overestimated you. Cannot believe you're such a bunch of speshial ickle snowflakes.

We'll only wear it a couple of times.
It'll get a few folk talking.
It'll probably sell to some "first time SFC consumer partners" which will make the brand department cream.
As a piece of design I honestly think it's pretty sound, particularly when it comes to the shirt in isolation.
(But yeah, I personally would have used the shorts to break up the colour a little)

Pink and yellow 😳

It reminds we of the rhubarb and custard sweets I used to eat as a kid.

I don’t have a problem with pink. Over the years I have worn pink shirts and I currently have a sweatshirt which is a funky shade of dusky pink. But, pink has no place as a football team strip. Not sure what it is…maybe it is the pink against the green grass…it just looks wrong on eleven people running around a football pitch.

Maybe a different shade wouldn’t have been quite so bad, but this is just so PINK!

Sir, I believe you meant to say that "this is just so CERTAINLY PINK!"?

Games where the home team are wearing black or blue shorts and the match officials don't want Saints in the black or navy shorts that come with the red and white kit and the yellow kit. So that would be games like Chelsea, Brighton, Leicester... Newcastle potentially

And there'll be a few where either yellow or pink are suitable and they opt to wear pink just to give it a run out, I guess

Just bring out a pair of yellow shorts for these away games , and job done. Probably no need for a third kit.

Most importantly, you can now buy this.

Perfect!

Anyone know if you can buy this for a lot cheaper online, possibly from the far east? Or is that just the actual shirts they do?

I'm not surprised! Probably think it makes them look like a bit of a laughing stock. Tell them juventus play in pink sometimes.

It's good enough for Messi too. See loads of kids wearing the Inter Miami kit these days.

I actually don't mind it. Not exactly a high bar, but it's smarter than the home kit. And marginally better than the yellow one.

I always think Palermo kit looks decent

When I was a nipper, wearing pink was a sign that you "bowled from the pavilion end" although I accept that times have changed.

Ohhh what does this cryptic saying mean then?

I'm assuming you might get superior swing on the ball, or is it simply that you're closer to the tea and biscuits at break time?

In my day it was always blue for a boy and pink for a girl.

Gendered colours are a relatively modern construct.

Seems barmy to me that one area of the colour spectrum would essentially be 'out of bounds' for men.

It's a crap kit because - like all of the Puma kits thus far - it's simply poorly designed. Nothing more complex.

Not always the case!

When someone posts incorrect information on here do you get notified with the QI klaxon sound going off?

Anyway I think the pink kit looks alright, probably the best of the three, but I still wouldn't wear it.

I think it looks decent with white shorts. It’d probably look alright with black too, or basically anything but the girl’s sleepover, pink pyjamas look.

Agree. Grey shorts would have worked too. The pink shorts are horrid. Just a bit too Barbie. Otherwise not bad at all. Apart from the sponsor. Yellow badge not great

I've gone looking for stuff other than shirts (the "wine" coloured travel gear from two seasons ago, the yellow third training shirt with the trees from last year) and couldn't find it.

It's hard to justify £25 or £30 for shipping on one or two items (even if two or three days to get to my doorstep on the other side of the world is crazy if you think about it). And it's hard to justify paying full price for any of it, even if the stuff other than the kits (the "cast iron" training gear, that shirt, the "alpine snow" third goalkeeper's kit) is all of interest to me.

Agree that a contrast colour would be better. Wasn’t an early rumour that it would be pink and purple/maroon, or pink and black ?

That might have worked depending on the shades of each (not high vis, dayglo pink).

Starling Bank home kit already sold out in medium and large. Luckily I’m packing 6XL these days so no issues for me.

Fuck me you will never get one big enough to wear over your hoodie
