That little sucker will fall right off.

The Curse of St Mary's Posted 3 August, 2024 Posted 3 August, 2024 Not sure on adult true to size status but be careful when ordering kids shirts online because my lad is very average size for his age (just turned 10) and he would need the 13-14 age shirt. They don't sell 12-13 age but the 11-12 wouldn't fit for very long at all.

FarehamSaintJames Posted 3 August, 2024 Posted 3 August, 2024 Surely the whole point in a kit is to try and generate some sales? Someone somewhere for Puma has just wasted a lot of time there. 2
Bad Wolf Posted 3 August, 2024 Posted 3 August, 2024 Only thing I don't like about it is the yellow crest. I like the colour of our badge so I'm really not a fan when they just have an outline of it. But that does seem to be the standard for the away kits these days.

Yeah but of a rip off given kids sizes go up to 14-15 but realistically will fit only up to 11/12 year olds max really. 1

Draino76 Posted 4 August, 2024 Posted 4 August, 2024 Internal parts of a vag colours. I like it It could grow on me. 2
Mallagroth Posted 4 August, 2024 Posted 4 August, 2024 (edited) All the repressed homosexuals are gonna be loudly raging about this one. Could be a fun third kit choice if they’ve got the colours to work okay. Edited 4 August, 2024 by Mallagroth 1
FarehamSaintJames Posted 4 August, 2024 Posted 4 August, 2024 Sorry but surely the whole point in running a business is to make money. If I was head of Puma and a team of my staff had come up with this PowerRanger kit I’d be like “What the fuck are you playing at”! 1 1
Colinjb Posted 4 August, 2024 Posted 4 August, 2024 It's not my taste, but the fan base is not just middle aged blokes who should have better things to do then worry about kits. So, whatever. My daughters like it. 4

Patrick Bateman Posted 4 August, 2024 Posted 4 August, 2024 Last season my son got all 3 kits. This season he only wants the home kit. Hates the yellow one, hates the pink one. Good start with Puma in this household 😂 1
Spoonman Posted 4 August, 2024 Posted 4 August, 2024 Puma really are shit. Their designs haven’t been at the races for a good few years now, but this pink effort, and the home shirt, are absolute muck. 2
Dr Who? Posted 4 August, 2024 Posted 4 August, 2024 (edited) I like it and if it was not £60 I would have purchased one for the gym and running. The top that is, not the full kit. I think they should have broken the colour up a little with the shorts and socks being maybe not pink as well. Edited 4 August, 2024 by Dr Who?
Scoobysaint Posted 4 August, 2024 Posted 4 August, 2024 Don’t mind the pink kit that and quite like the Starling home kit but will only be getting a red vest training top when they finally become available online.
bender Posted 5 August, 2024 Posted 5 August, 2024 For comedy value I'm getting that shirt. But it will be from DHgate for £10 1
andrew7610 Posted 5 August, 2024 Posted 5 August, 2024 (edited) I bought a Hummel away kit for £13 from DHGate in the relegation season, and got the sponsor off using the nail polish remover method. You definitely need to turn the shirt inside out and apply it to the back of the transfer - if you put the liquid on the front of the sponsor it will just cause the ink to run onto the fabric and could possibly stain it. The plasticky front print peels off quite easily (do it bit-by-bit, don't be tempted to do it all in one go), but I was initially left with some of the glue residue still on the shirt (so essentially a transparent but still slightly visible outline of the sponsor logo shape) but after a couple of standard wash cycles that's gone too. I think like another poster said… it would benefit from having a different colour pair of shorts (white? Or that lighter shade of pink) I don’t mind a wacky 3rd shirt but keeping it just to the shirt, breaks up the kit and stops it looking like an awkward pair of PJs or goalkeeper kit!

Needs a hard boycott on shirt sales until the club understand that they need to be maintained for more than one season, and they need to actually turn out quality designs. To be changing the shirt every year, churning out shit repeated year on year, and then to be charging £60 for it is just a piss take. 1

Saint_clark Posted 6 August, 2024 Posted 6 August, 2024 Just for anyone that missed it in the above article, if you've already purchased your shirt you can take it into the club store and get the P&O branding added free of charge! 😂😂🤦🏼♂️ 11

Haven't Luton and Brentford recently changed to new kits every two years? Would definitely be better I think

Now that would be cool! I'm totally with @Saint86, the whole situation is a farce TBH. Sell the shirts for £30 each, launch a new home shirt one year and new away the next. Have a decent, ethical, sponsor. Job done! 6
CSA96 Posted 7 August, 2024 Posted 7 August, 2024 Nicer than I thought it could've ended up being. Not really sure why the badges are that odd shade of yellow though

Games where the home team are wearing black or blue shorts and the match officials don't want Saints in the black or navy shorts that come with the red and white kit and the yellow kit. So that would be games like Chelsea, Brighton, Leicester... Newcastle potentially And there'll be a few where either yellow or pink are suitable and they opt to wear pink just to give it a run out, I guess Edited 7 August, 2024 by CSA96
